You have my sympathies.

My uncle's Capri was really special to him and in a case of mistaken identity someone trashed it.

The funny thing was the people who did it bought him a new one and left it in his driveway unsure.png. He said it never felt the same as the old one.

Was it a fireman by any chance.

No, I'm afraid not. It was scarier people than a Fireman.

I only found out the full story at my Uncle's funeral two years ago. A guy who lived at the same number of house in the next avenue along from my Uncle's and who had a trendy cool car (we're not sure what model of car this guy had) got on the wrong side of the local Gangster family. The head of the family discovered that this guy was, well to be frank, porking his 16 year old daughter and didn't like it so they decided to teach him a lesson. Unfortunately for my Uncle they got him mixed up with this other guy and trashed his Capri. When they realised they had made a mistake they left him a new one in his driveway with a note of apology inside. I still don't know whether to laugh or be scared to be honest.

Great made up story. lol.giflol.giflol.gif

Would be surprised if we saw him again. Then again I said that in December, and he played 15 minutes away at St Johnstone after that, so who knows.

Regardless, he will join the long list of ' Danny's disasters ' in the transfer market.

Former St Mirren flop Stephane Bahoken reckons Buddies will be in shock after his goal ended PSG's unbeaten run in Ligue 1

Bahoken netted the winner for Strasbourg against PSG at the weekend, which ended the French giants 25 game unbeaten

Stephane Bahoken will be remembered as the man who ended Paris Saint-Germain’s unbeaten run this season.

But the Frenchman reckons St Mirren fans will struggle to remember him at all after he flopped during a five-month spell in Paisley.

Bahoken sent shockwaves throughout French football when he hit the winning goal for Strasbourg against Unai Emery’s men at the Stade de la Meinau.

It ended Celtic ’s Champions League rivals run of 25 games without defeat, stretching back to April 30 last season when Bahoken’s former club Nice beat them.

And the 25-year-old reckons the tremors would have been felt in Paisley for those who watched him in action during his brief spell in Scotland.

Bahoken joined the Buddies under Danny Lennon but it was a miserable five-game, five-month spell that ended with him returning to France injured.

He had been sent back to Nice earlier after failing to impress and was only given a second chance due to FIFA rules preventing him going on loan.

But Bahoken - who didn’t complete 90 minutes in a St Mirren shirt - played just one more game and his current hero status is a real contrast to how he was viewed in Scotland.

Bahoken leaves PSG keeper Oukidja with no chance

Yet he succeeded where the Hoops and many others have failed this season in playing his part in a win over Neymar and Co. to end the huge spenders aura of invincibility.

Bayern Munich then followed it up with a midweek Champions League victory in Germany, although the Parisiens still finished top of the group.

Bahoken has been a man in demand, featuring in just about every media outlet in France, following his famous goal.

But he told Record Sport: “I don’t think people in Scotland will think a lot of me and my time at St Mirren.

“If my winning goal against PSG is a big shock in France then I can only imagine what St Mirren fans must think!

“It will be a bigger shock to them because I was only there for a few months and I didn’t score any goals.

“But just three years later I’m scoring the winner against PSG so I can imagine how it must look to them.

“I enjoyed my time in Scotland despite it not being a success. It was the first time I left France so I discovered a new country and culture.

“I liked Paisley and also Glasgow. I lived in a flat near to the Braehead shopping mall and the people were great.

“I made my debut at the end of August but I wasn’t playing and in the November I wanted to go back to France.

Bahoken didn’t complete 90 minutes in a St Mirren shirt

“I was looking to move to Ligue 2 in France in the January but it didn’t happen because I’d played for Nice and St Mirren in the same year so the rules didn’t allow it.

“I returned to St Mirren and played one game but I had the injury that ruled me out for three months so it was a pretty miserable time for me.

“I returned to France for rehabiliation at Nice’s training centre and that was the end for me.

“The game in Scotland is different from France and I found it difficult to adapt. I was also young and impatient - I wasn’t mature enough so the experience wasn’t great.

“I’m now starting to fulfil my potential. I wish I could have been as strong mentally at St Mirren as I am now but Scotland taught me fighting spirit.

“We don’t have that kind of mentality in France and I have no doubt that my brief time in Scotland helped to make me more determined.

“I still follow St Mirren’s results and some of my former team-mates such as Kenny McLean at Aberdeen, John McGinn at Hibs and Isma Goncalves who I played with at Nice and recommended me to St Mirren.”

If Bahoken’s own story is remarkable so his his club’s with Strasbourg playing in the fifth tier of French football just six years ago.

It made the win over PSG such a huge shock but, like Celtic who suffered a couple of humiliating losses, they did it without parking the bus.

Bahoken said: “Paris Saint-Germain have built a team designed not to lose this season with the signings of Neymar and Mbappe so to win against them was amazing.

“I can’t describe my feelings right now. Nobody expected Strasbourg to win because we are 17th in Ligue 1 and they are top.

“I watched Celtic play against Paris Saint-Germain and was thinking ‘wow’ when they lost 7-1. Our formation was to play four in defence, three in midfield and three in attack.

“The coach told us to go out and play because we had nothing to lose. We played that way and we won.

Bahoken is now a man in demand after such a high profile winner

“The goal came from a long kick from our goalkeeper, my strike partner flicked it on with his head and I outpaced Presnel Kimpembe and from the right of goal I hit a hard shot passed the goalkeeper.

“It was an amazing feeling to score against Paris Saint-Germain because they were undefeated so it was extraordinary.

“I swapped shirts after the game with Layvin Kurzawa. He was an unused subsitute but we played together in the French national team at underage level.

“I had 200 messages on my phone and social media. It was a big deal France because and people haven’t stopped talking about it.

“It’s funny but when PSG were losing to Bayern Munich a French website made a joke on twitter saying that Unai Emery needed Stephane Bahoken to rescue the team.

“It was great for me because although I was born in Cannes I supported Paris Saint-Germain when I was a boy and Pauleta was my hero.

“I was invited on to beIN Sports and a lot of agents have been calling to ask about me and ask me some questions.

“I am loving life at Strasbourg. When I left St Mirren I went back to Nice and then on to Strasbourg, initially in the third division but we have twice been promoted.”

This guy deserves a HUGE amount of respect for two reasons.

Firstly for openly admitting his own failing when he was playing here and secondly for overcoming his problems and making it to the top.

Mooy at Huddersfield is another one.

It is very refreshing to hear about people who have this attitude.

Also good to hear him say good things about us and Paisley but maybe living in Renfrew helped

Unbelievably, I reckon he's got to be a shout to go to the World Cup with Cameroon next year with the form he's in. He's never been capped at any level for them as he's French born but qualifies through his father who incidentally played for Cameroon in Spain 82.

Except Cameroon didn't qualify!

I see that Aston Villa, Brighton, Everton and Newcastle are all in the mix to try and sign Bahoken after he's said he's leaving Strasbourg when his contract expires.

The EPL is a great laugh. More money than sense at every club.
