windae cleaner
because they know it's 3 points in the bag. Well the pitch isn't a disadvantage that's for sure unlike a few tattie fields going about
Callum Gilhooley
My understanding is that the pitch was laid to be exactly the same dimensions as Love Street.
Guest TPAFKATS
It's to make the balls look bigger Would shaving cutting the grass shorter also help?
pod
Just realised that the pitch is not at all big. Anyone tell me why that is? So we can play 5 aside on it next season.
slapamythighs
Just realised that the pitch is not at all big. Anyone tell me why that is? optical illusion, caused by the stands being sooo big,,
Guest TPAFKATS
Can we make it smaller - just so we can get a bit closer to the opposition?
Leicester Saint
Can we make it smaller - just so we can get a bit closer to the opposition? Can we just get rid of the pitch?? BAWZ
Just realised that the pitch is not at all big. Anyone tell me why that is? It used to be much bigger, but the groundstaff washed it at the wrong temperature.
Big Yards
Could've done with it being smaller today, stop thistles players getting so much time and space!
reborn saint
Could've done with it being smaller today, stop thistles players getting so much time and space! reborn saint
Keep Danny then. He's about the right size. Main man in mid.....pulling the strings like his Rovers days....lol
ss39Lavety
I'll be honest I think we would benefit from the pitch being slightly bigger. It helps our passing game, Hampdens the biggest in the country and we have a 100% win rate there under Danny! We have a passing game? BuddieinEK
We have a passing game? Yep... ... the game passes us by!!!

Liverpool Bud
Either the original poster is under 5 ft 3 or he is unaware that pitches must be WITHIN certain dimensions. I seem to remember love st being a massive pitch - for us mere mortals I remember in a saints aid game the keeper rolled the ball out to me on the edge of the box - it took a dribble , a one/two pass and a punt to get it over the half way line ( maybe that's what we are not doing this season ) Also if the pitch is deemed good enough by the SFA for the u21 Scotland team it must be ok. JohnBoy
It fits almost perfectly in the stadium.
