Callum Gilhooley
Noticed that Callum Fordyce (centre half )from Meadowbank FC score a hat trick today versus Danny lennons wee team . This got me thinking TWO things. 1. Can anyone recall a centre back scoring a hat-trick before and 2. Given our current predicament re scoring goals.... what d`you think about a front two on Monday of Mair & McGregor ? robert1989
I remember watching Arthurlie a few years back and a centre half by the name of Brian Wardle scored a hat trick. Cant for the life of me remember who it was against. But it is certainly possible.

Callum Gilhooley
looked at my original post & realised my mistake... it should have read Callum Fordyce of Ferranti Thistle.

Hambud
Another c**t that plays at ch is John Terry, no hattricks that I know, of but 56 career goals is quite good.
Isabella Duke
Bobby Reid scored 10 league goals for St. Mirren in 1976/77. He was one of 6 Saints players to get into double figures of league goals that season!
Isabella Duke
I thought that Derek Mountfield had maybe bagged a hat trick in 84/85 when Everton won the league but no. He did manage a brace twice and scored 10 league goals and 14 in all competitions. Quite amazing for a centre half. Indeed, he scored more goals that season than St. Mirren will probably score this season!
