Last season = worst top flight season in 40 years.

This season = worst start to a season since the early 1920s.

He'll certainly go down in the record books! lol.gif:

How the hell can it be the worst top flight season in 40 years when that period covered at least 2 relegations? lol.gif

We were the 10th placed non Old Firm club in the top flight. We have never fared worse than that in 40 years.

The relegation in 91/92 saw us the 9th placed non Old Firm club.

The relegation in 00/01 saw us the 10th placed non Old Firm club (and a wage bill far short of our nearest competitor).

Not that difficult to understand.

Well, then again, maybe for a man with your superior intellect... :1eye

Even by this fickle forum's standards this takes the biscuit, stretching the sinews of statistics to breaking point!

Exactly!

We were the 11th non Dundee based club in 2001 to draw half as many games as Hamilton did in their first season back.

Science.

FFS hilarious! lol.gif

This has to be the contender for worst ever abuse of statistics.

What utterly meaningless tripe.

Apart from that decade or so we spent mid-tabling it for the most part in the first division all through the nineties...

What ridiculous stats, almost as bad as Craig Brown's "we beat them on corners"

Last season = Surely 2000/01 was worse, probably 91/92 as well.

This season = currently 10th above the play-off & relegation slots.

He'll certainly go down in the record books as one of the four managers to manage us to a major trophy! lol.gif

FFS There is a speculation thread in the rumour mill section of this fine forum. Please post your speculative thoughts in the relevant speculation thread. Otherwise the forum will be swamped with random threads.

Post wiser!

Why does it upset you? Bloody hell.
