We were the 10th placed non Old Firm club in the top flight. We have never fared worse than that in 40 years. The relegation in 91/92 saw us the 9th placed non Old Firm club. The relegation in 00/01 saw us the 10th placed non Old Firm club (and a wage bill far short of our nearest competitor). Not that difficult to understand.
