Great Goal By Dummet - Its An Omen!

he was on radio Newcastle tonight saying how beneficial his loan stint was and how thankful he is for it.

Unfortunately, nobody in Newcastle will be listening to the radio on a Saturday night. They'll all be down the Bigg Market.

Interesting that he rates this moment higher than winning a national trophy with Saints.

Yeah. Like Stevie Thompson who rates winning the league cup for us, more highly than winning numerous trophies with Rangers, scoring for Scotland, firing Burnley to the Premiership and playing in the FA cup final.wink.png

Good on the lad. It could be a career defining moment for him.

Not really like that at all.

Scoring 1 goal for your boyhood club which resulted in a point.

Thommo won a national trophy for his boyhood club. Apples and oranges...

He's happier with the goal because it's the club he supports. It would be the same if you scored for the st mirren

exactly its the same as Thommo thinking winning the league cup with us was bigger than scoring the goal that won the league for the scum formerly known as Rangers.

Just realised someone has said this.

scoring against one of the biggest clubs in the world is pretty massive. I know they are not what they used to be but they are still one of the biggest names in world football.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle are the biggest name in the top divisions in the UK.

until this post, I'd always just thought they were called Inverness Caledonia Thistle, which is enough of a mouthful.

It must have been a natural Gaelic speaker who came up with that...
