cambiebud
Conceded defeat. Personally I'm gutted but it's a democracy and New Labour has convinced the majority. I am over 50 and my initial reaction is c'est la vie. Won't now happen in my life time and when either the Conservatives or Labour win in May, they will drop their promises to Scotland. Will be interesting to see the turnout compared to tonight. I for one am finished with Westminster voting.

iTony
Are you willing to expand on that statement. Go on accuse someone instead of a just a slur. Have you changed you avatar to "Assassin's Creed"? Hooded men lurking in the shadows - very slight and underhand tactics!

iTony
The Fire Alarm going off has suspended the count in Dundee. Is there nothing the Natsi's won't do to stop themselves from losing? An electric cigarette caused the fire alarm!

cambiebud
Don't do that, that would just be silly. Come on now, that kind of talk doesn't help anyone. Why? You couldn't separate the big 2 parties with St Mirren goals total on policies! To see all those Labour activists celebrating was sickening. When Boris becomes PM in a couple of years, I hope they all remember tonight.
iTony
Yes. I noticed i missed out the question mark, So are you willing to expand on the statement you made? What do you want me to say? I don't think it was you that was involved if that's your line of thought.

I'm guessing you are not a fan of the Conservative or Liberal Democrats parties. So why would you not bother voting at future elections, just lie down and accept whatever Government you get without casting a vote which is your right and allowing yourself to be shafted by folk you don't like? iTony
Slartibartfast threw out the toys. Then Vambo came away with: Thanks to all for the banter . Que Sera Sera And now you appear to be on the edge of your windowsill:- Just the truth, who are you blaming for it being 1933 Germany all over again regarding ballot fraud? Go on name a person, organisation or political party. Don't jump, Cockles!!!
iTony
The yes campaign appears very defeatist tonight. I fear that there's going to be trouble in the streets over the next week or two.
E=Mc2
Inverclyde turnout is 87%, which is quite phenomenal for this area. The vote is neck and neck and could come to the last vote here. I was down there today and would not be surprised if it went the way of No. It will be close. It's early in the night yet, but Yessers really do have to look at the role they've played in throwing this away.
Stuart Dickson
Rumour of No vote winning West Lothian. So far the only area that appears to think it'll be calling a Yes vote is Dundee. If that comes to pass it would be an enormous rejection of Alex Salmond and of the kind of independence that was on offer.
