Polls before the question was sorted repeatedly demonstrated that a DevoMax type option of further devolved powers was the overwhelming preference of voters. Why did the 3 westminster leaders sign up for "the vow" which again was reported as "devo max". Why did no one correct this? Why in the last few days of the campaign did labour run a campaign of "if you dont know, vote no (and get more powers)" Why has polling over the last 2 years consistently shown that scots wanted devo max and would have voted for that if it had been available on the ballot paper? And certainly the DO have to ensure they have sufficient numbers of marshalled at an event or else they have to pay policing costs. Either way though it's duly noted that you agree that the "event" is not likely to be free to those law abiding citizens of Glasgow who will see their council tax payments being diverted into policing yet another political rally for a minority groups in Scottish Society.
