iTony
Oh well, if you're not interested we may as well give up on the idea, then...... It's not all about you, StuD. Who is it all about then?
iTony
In case anyone is interested and doesn't know about it. It looks like an invitation to a birthday party in Build-A-Bear Workshop or something else that is shite.
iTony
"Family Fun Day" - apparently this involved listening to FIVE HOURS of speeches by boring f**kers like Tommy Sheridan, Dennis Canavan and Paul Brannigan. I bet the kids that were taken to this "fun" event can't thank their parents enough. Hold on a minute! They described it as a "Fun Filled Family Event" and they had a man who has been proved guilty of perjury and has had his colourful sex life made public speaking at it?! Aye, great advert for families that is.
saintnextlifetime
Oh shucks , was poor old Gordon wooed into bed with the Tories a wee bit too easily ? Does the one-eyed-Scotsman really expect us to believe him now. . . .or is he just worried about people not voting for him next spring.. http://news.sky.com/story/1351639/brown-hits-out-at-cameron-over-scotland-powers

The SNP will be no threat to him at all in a UK General Election. BTW it was interesting to see Michael Portillo - who has spent a great deal of time with Alex Salmond over the last four years - speculating that the SNP may well be the party that KEEPS the Conservatives in power after the next General Election. He believed that the SNP would be prepared to enter into a pact with the Tories keeping them in power, with no Scottish votes on English matters, in return for some tax raising powers at Hollyrood. Stuart Dickson
I love the fact that Tommy Sheridan evoked the spirit of the Miners Strike of 1984 - 5 quoting miners who were returning to work saying that "This was the end of the beginning". They'd been trounced by Maggie Thatcher in the same way the Scottish Yes Movement was trounced by David Cameron, and we all know what happened to the miners in the years following. I also love the fact that the Yes Campaign is clearly splitting already. The SSP boycotted todays event saying that Tommy Sheridan was using the Yes Campaign to rehabilitate his political career and others stating that the Hope Not Fear rally didn't represent anyone in the grassroots Yes movement. Throw in the fact that at the next General Election the SNP may well throw in their towel to keep David Cameron in power and I can see this so called Yes Movement going down the toilet where all good movements usually end up. The SNP performance during the referendum was so bad that many Yes supporters have said they would support Patrick Harvie at the next Scottish Elections - conveniently forgetting that they'd be electing the Green Party in the hope they would boost the Scottish economy using fossil fuels. Sadly for you (and Scotland) Gordon, they have and will continue to break their promises. As the repellent cancer that is UKIP spreads through the tory heartlands, and further afield, the agreed "promises" which were hurried through with unseemly haste, will continue to falter and become less and less meaningful.. Stuart Dickson
Really? Where did you get this "apparent" information from? I can categorically tell you that it did not involve FIVE HOURS of speeches. No, it wasn't an invitation to a birthday party in one of your posts. No need to repeat yourself. You said this when you said that it wasn't all about Dorothy. From one of the under 16's in my football team who suffered the event. He posted on Facebook that he's reporting his parents to Childline later

Nonsense. Revisit the pledge that Milliband, Cameron and Clegg signed. It's all covered by the Scotland Act which is already in place. Stuart Dickson
You know, it's not hard to understand, but you somehow manage to not understand. It's nice to see you think it is good. Now, will you either answer the question or admit that you are making shit up like normal? You answered when I was typing. Most of the kids there looked like they were enjoying themselves. And you are on facebook pretending to be under 16? That's shocking!!! Nope. The football club uses Facebook to communicate with the players setting up matches as events and sending invites to games. That way everyone receives the same message on match days and if there is a late call off all the players will get the communication at the same time. We leave dodgy internet activity to Yes Campaigners and Celebrities

More power for Holyrood was never a factor.
Guest TPAFKATS
surprising to see that people will attend a meeting and listen to a disgcraced and self important loudmouth like sheridanI think there was close to two dozen speakers buddiecat. buddiecat
Beats sitting on here reading Dorothy's posts, that's for f**king sure. I met Tommy Sheridan a couple of times years ago - thought he was a bit of a knob. I still don't agree with everything he says but he's not completely wrong and he wasn't the only one there speaking. fair enough he wasn't the only speaker, but he is dangerous if given any power, made himself famous by telling people not to pay their way in society,he's a sunbed socialist and should be ignored
