windae cleaner
If it was 0,0 at the time we would have said it was right to call it off, were all disappointed that we were 2 up when the ref decided to put a end to it, It was prob the right decision, On another point, how great was to see 4 players from our youth system in the 1st team, well Naismith, Kelly, McLean and McGinn Why did it take him well over half a hour to make that decision. Nothing changed weather wise in that time the same all afternoon The decision should have been at half time in which he didn't even inspect the pitch in that time
Bart Simpson
Ross County put all sorts of pressure on the referee to call it of including their chairman down pestering himSG's measured but pointed comments on Radio Scotland eluded to the pressure applied. The game may not have finished but it was ridiculous process to make the decision.
stevie1877smfc
county couldn't wait to get out of paisley they are a disgrace for pressuring officials but collum is a baw bag of the highest order he started the 2nd half in worse conditions than he abandoned it tosser
Lex
If we were losing 2-0 i'd have expected SGG and Lennon to be putting huge pressure on the officials. This is not Ross County's fault.

Not defending Collum or County but if we were 2-0 down away from home looking like getting a doing we would have been in the refs ear as well. Kendo
I blame Danny and Cheesey, surely they should have looked at the forecast and arranged to have the match started 1 hour earlier.

Luther G. Presley
WTF?Let's see how much complaining we do about this, very little I reckon, we will just get on with things and take the dignified stance and probably end up in the play offs on the back of this. scrappy coco
Gutted today, probably the right decision in the long run though, but strange he called it off as the rain seemed to be easing, just our luck it probably feels worse than a defeat... on a plus note i thought young naismith looked very comfortable at RB and wee gowser was superb....... class of 76-77
Still can't believe that Collum took so long to call the game, why did he not just spare us the hanging about waiting for the game to re-start and call it as soon as it stopped. He really is an attention seeking and incompetent wanker. Edited November 2, 2013 by class of 76-
HSS
I can understand why the ref called it off, what I can't understand is the performance he went through to call it off.
bigjerseybuddie
Hate to say this but it was the right decision, he has to consider the possibity of injury when a pass falls short which happened a number of times. If one of our boys had been injured as a result of a ball being held up in the conditions then he would have been slaughtered anyway.a poor ref he may be but he has to take then safest route. Oh and wee John mcginns pass was world class for the second goal.

cardeebuds
If that game was abandoned at half time I wouldn't have complained. It was the fact the Ground staff and YTS players worked for half an hour on Collums say so to get the pitch to an apparent playable level to then call it off. This just shows that the bouncing and kicking the ball to see if it rolled was just a way for him to abuse his power when he had clearly decided it was off. JP87
So I can't go today and hear the game's 'as live' on Alba. I avoid all football and settle down to watch it at 5.30. An hour later, it's abandoned. WTF did they show it for? Farcical.

That sounds like a quote from bigjessiebuddie, he played the second half on much worse conditions than there was when he inspected it. There were no players injured. saintargyll
if Collom thinks throwing the ball up one metre into the air constitutes football or side footing the ball 4 yards replicates football then he can just f**k OFF
E=Mc2
Game abandoned. We leave and I take off my bunnet when outside as it had stopped raining. Collum and Conquer don't like St. Mirren.
Kendo
Game abandoned. We leave and I take off my bunnet when outside as it had stopped raining. Collum and Conquer don't like St. Mirren. 95% of the pitch was fine, he was searching for waterlogged parts. I've seen us play at Motherwell where 95% of the pitch was goosed and didn't have a blade of grass.
E=Mc2
Column said "Everybody will be disappointed". Does Mr. Collum honestly believe that there is no one within the Ross County management and supporters who are happy with this decision. Deary me Mr. Collum, your statement beggars belief.
