Soctty
Serious Foul Play reduced to Recklessly Dangerous Play. Can we appeal again and get it reduced to Slightly Alarming Play?
Vambo57
It was still a late/lunging challenge and he still made a bit of contact, though it was clearly not a red. A yellow is acceptable in the circumstances, IMO. Well done to the club for backing the skipper. We need him for the last few games. Agreed. He did make some contact and he did lunge in a bit, but Thomson made a meal of it. Naw he didnae. Let it go lads. Let it go...
Howard Hughes in BlueSuedeShoes
it's ok ive read further he takes it back haha. why anyone would say something like that in first place - just gives the rest of the folk on his back further ammunition. Anyhoo let's just hope for a miracle appeal decision!
Lanarkshire_Bud
How long is the fresh air expected to be out for? Get well soon.
madmitch
The contact with Thomson was made because Thomson stuck his leg out as Jim's trailing leg went past. Thomson has previous for this. See his "penalty dive" while playing for Rangers against Celtic. He knocks his leg into Samaras' in a vain attempt to get a pen. Stolen from P&B
saintnextlifetime
Serious Foul Play reduced to Recklessly Dangerous Play. Can we appeal again and get it reduced to Slightly Alarming Play? I was thinking of , getting it reduced to Slightly Ambiguous Decision . Of course , that might mean they would have to go back and have a look at every challenge Babyfacethomson has been in. . Sonny
Normally I would say better late than never but in Jim's case the damage has already had a major impact ... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/st-mirren-boss-danny-lennon-3485634

saint in exile
Naw he didnae. Let it go lads. Let it go... Black and white glasses evident for some on here. Why can't you accept that contact was made, however unintentional.
BuddieinEK
Black and white glasses evident for some on here. Why can't you accept that contact was made, however unintentional. Indeed there WAS minimal contact, as you rightly say. Contact that could have been avoided if Thomson hadn't deliberately raised his leg to try and catch Goodwin. So 'lunge' has been downgraded to perhaps unintentional 'contact? Why can't you accept you're wrong and... Let. It. Go.

billyg
Can't think of one foul he committed yesterday either , it was a pretty faultless performance from him. I just hate the fact that as we approach contract-renewal time , everyone seems to be putting in a shift. Where was the determination to succeed earlier in the season ? Lanarkshire_Bud
All the direct result of the club, manager and fans backing him. Other occasions many here have been against him and the club and manager have been silent. Danny goes public with his displeasure and the fans back the skipper to the hilt and Jim starts chipping in with MOM display after MOM display. Goody! Goody! Goody! shull
Absolute stand out in middle of the park in last few games. His form earlier in the season dipped, and he let himself and the club down at times with reckless challenges, but he has proved his critics wrong (including me at times) with these recent displays. Well done Jim. Keep it going for next two games. Keep it going forever. Our Captain is a legend and turning out masterclass after masterclass performances. And is due an International cap.
