guinness
Just seen film of the lbw. Jeez would not have hit a second set of stumps. Typical Scotland result. Equivalent of goal difference. They have done exceptionally well. What a crap way to go out.

I think what's most galling is that it was rained off in fucking Africa of all places! I think someone was doing one of these.

FTOF
I think they (Australia) should be booted out the world cup and Scotland to replace them. Pre-meditated cheating bastards! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/43526870

Pre-meditated cheating bastards! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/43526870 As old as the game itself - lip balm was the rage when I were a lad prior to that it was alleged that Firy Fred Truman used Brylcream to shine one side of the ball. Careless by the Aussies - getting caught that is. ********************************** Most likely payback for the Du Plessis ball tampering charge during SA's last tour of Australia. The level of humbug from commentators & politicians is startling though special kudos must go to Mike "gravellyhands" Atherton! Pre-meditated cheating bastards! Latest spin (sic) is that is was mainly down to David "Bad Boy" Warner. Lehmann has already been absolved, Smith's role is being downplayed but Bancroft is likely to "walk the plank" too. One question which seems to be getting ignored is how could the bowlers not have known? Are we expected to believe Bancroft chose which side of the ball to work on by himself and that the bowlers were told or noticed nothing? ******************* Apparently Australian coach Darren Lehmann will resign when the current series with SA ends! FTOF
Ferguslie CC have won their first three games of the season. Should be batting shortly in the Scottish cup v Stewart's Melville down at Ferguslie.
Bud the Baker
Ireland only 35 runs behind with 5 wickets left. You would expect Pakistan to win comfortably but most of the runs in this Test have been scored in the afternoon and evening sessions, if Ireland could get ahead and leave Pakistan to bat on the fifth morning, unlikely but who knows? Bud the Baker
Terrific Test match - betting was suspended yesterday when Ireland were 9/4 (the score not the odds!). Comin up to the Close of Play on Day 4 with Ireland 134 ahead - maybe they've batted too well as they will be able to continue their Innings in the morning. Would be "Captain Oates" brave to declare overnight. Still, another fascinating days play to come! ***************** Pakistan win by 5 wickets - not quite enough runs on the board for Ireland once the early morning zip had worn off! Bud the Baker
Don't do The Sin Bin. Terrific total for Scotland (371/5) against a strong England team. That's one day cricket since the introduction of the T20 format, teams just go for it from ball 1 - big wins, big defeats!
