Hampden Pitch Ripped Up.

I saw on the news tonight diggers at Hampden ripping up the pitch. Surely they could have lifted the turf properly and sold it for charity or donated it to a good cause?

Seems like a waste to me.

Gary Teale had already torn up the wing nearest the main stand, it was a sort of line from the half way line that cut in toward the box at the goal on the right.

Gary is said to be glad to have been of assistance.

pity they are just pouring more dirt on top, they would only have been found if the swimming pool was being constructed at hampden
