Watched the first episode, reasonable, not award winning TV but an interesting story. Another 5 episodes to go, problem is it'll conflict with Champions league games. faraway saint
I've been "All or Nothing", the inside story of Spurs. Last night the episode was around a year ago as the pandemic started to hit sport. Interesting to see the slow devastating effects, disbelief at what was happening and the club having to make decisions as things developed. Similar reactions/decisions would have been happening to clubs all over the UK/world.
ALBIONSAINT
Watched a good documentary on bbc4 during the week (The coletiv) about a fire in a night club in Romania back in 2015. 27 young people died in the fire but that tripled in the following weeks due to poor hospital care (infections) Romania is plagued by corruption, mafia and poor leadership. Worth a watch.
Bud the Baker
The Saint - yup Covid has reduced me to watching one of Roger Moore's pre-Bond career highlight's - as usual it's "the bird of the week" whom Simon has to rescue that's the most interesting part of the show. Shirley Eaton & her cleavage! Edited April 6, 2021 by Bud the Baker
faraway saint
Started watching "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" tonight, right up my street. Marvel series with all the special effects that make it decent but more importantly, to me, the actors/characters are "believable" in their roles. Watched the first 2 episodes, I'm hooked. I tried Wandavision on Disney + , just couldn’t get into it. Watched the first season of Mandalorian which is excellent 👍🏻

Bud the Baker
It seems Ridley Scott's biopic of Gucci (see above) has attracted the ire of the Gucci family who have accused the auteur of hiring an actor to play Gucci who is horrible, horrible, short, fat & ugly... I'm sure Al Pacino will know how deal with unwelcome critics... Edited April 15, 2021 by Bud the Baker

Bud the Baker
Minor 50s classic The Girl Can't Help It on Sky 328 @ Sunday 3:30pm... As the tagline said at the time - BABY, IT'S THE GREATEST! Forget the plot and focus on the music and Jayne (hubba-hubba) Mansfield... The Girl Can't Help It (1956) - IMDb Edited April 19, 2021 by Bud the Baker

Scary enough being down at bottom of the concrete legs on the "Charlie" without the monsters.

I was on the Brent Bravo re-build in 93-95, a few years after the leg disaster-3 deaths I think Scariest things in my time were the Dutch "bird" who ran the welfare and "big stornoway" who used to sleep like a corpse on the welder's scaffolds-even when he was off shift

faraway saint
Refreshing to see that Diversity won a BAFTA for that powerful performance on Britains Got Talent.
