Glad I'm one of Jock Tamson's bairns. emoji106.png

I'm glad I'm alive, despite the usual up's and downs people experience without resorting to blaming mental health, the government or everybody else.

Thanks to my parents I am what I am............................my mum was Gloria Gaynor.

What is even meant to be funny? It's true.

Have you missed me so much you need to find something, anything to reply to my posts?

Your a sad lad really.

One thing I can rely on is you making a cnut of yourself time after time. 🤡

AFTER you followed me around. Get the timeline right clown.

ETA. Now I feel dirty falling for your lure. Go away and find someone to converse with at your own level. I'm sure there must be a 3 year old near where you live.

Episodes 1-5 of The Scotts are now available bon the BBC iPlayer.

Cutting edge. Hillarious.

Isn't it strange how we can see things so differently.

I thought the opening episode was utterly embarrassing shite.

I couldn't bring myself to watch another episode.

Hey ho !!

Very much an acquired taste. I totally get that.

I was a fan of Burnistoun which helped. Scot Squad too.

The Scotts starts tonight on BBC, I watched the pilot about a couple of years ago, and found it hilarious.

Got it set to be recorded, after a "hard" weekend I'll be sleeping when it comes on, 10:30pm.

Very disappointed in episode 1.

After the pilot, albeit quite a while ago, I was really looking forward to this.

I found the first episode predictable and struggled to maintain anything near comedy.

I'll give episode 2 a go, not sure it's got enough to maintain my interest.

Aye, overall I agree, cringeworthy at times, lacking any real intelligent humour.

Help on Channel 4
Available on the All 4 player now.

Wow. That was painful, compelling and brilliantly acted.

Very moving. Recommended.
Highly recommended.

Jodie Comer plays a shy new care home worker named Sarah and Stephen Graham 47-year-old Tony who has been diagnosed with Young Onset Alzheimer's...

As Sarah settles into her job, March 2020 arrives!

Seen the trailers, looks good/interesting, although a tad dark in the lighting sense.

I'm a demon for starting stuff and not getting round to finishing them, must try harder.

It was originally intended as a three part TV drama but they released it as a one off 90 minute TV movie.

One of my best friends has YOA.
He no longer recognises his wife, kids or my wife and I. Only in his 50s. So so sad.
I’m not sure I can watch this programme without tears rolling down my cheeks.
It's hellish Slash.
So sad.
I've supported a number of people only in their 50s over the years.
So cruel on the whole family.

Without giving any spoilers away, the way the young carer saw the person inside, his remaining abilities and the potential he had made the programme for me.
