faraway saint
Been watching An Audience with Adele, what a voice. New album is also worth a listen if you like here, very "samey" but that's ok if you've liked her previous stuff.

Shouty miserable woman but very good at what she does.An Audience With was stunning manipulation and evidence of her skill at playing and reading an audience.Good voice. Talented lass. Seems a very nice person. But far too shouty and miserable musically for me.
faraway saint
At this time of year, in years gone by, the Radio Times and latterly the free TV guide from various newspapers was the "must have". Changed days, everything at your fingertips and cooncil TV not the only choice, although still the "go to" for many families on Christmas day. Personally Christmas and, more so, New Year, isn't my favourite time of the year. Probably more to do with the weather and long dark days. Roll on the spring/summer.

Tonight, maybe Billy Connolly but likely to be a different version of the same old. Early night beckons.

I did watch oor Billy, as I thought, mostly snippets of stuff I'd seen before but still very, laugh out loud, funny. Nice to see he's showing a bit of character by not letting his illness ruin his life, pity more of society didn't' have the same "Glasgow" outlook.

faraway saint
Looking forward to the upcoming drama about the tragedy that happened at Hillsborough. I remember it fairly clearly, and back then there was less access to the media platforms we have today. Anne, starts on Sunday night and is a 4 part series.
