Dibbles old paperboy Posted January 14, 2014 Report Share Posted January 14, 2014 At the start of the season Hearts were saying they had enough money in to last them until around February / March as much of the season ticket sales for this season had already disappeared last spring before they went into administration. They are fortunate to have been allowed to compete in the top league this season and may have to charge season ticket holders twice over for the last few months to make it to the end of this season. So, no, they shouldn't be allowed to make additional signings. No, they shouldn't be allowed 1 in 1 out on the 5 summer redundancies, and it is tough if some of their young players lose form or risk injury from being overplayed this season - they should have thought of the consequences of over a decade of spending cash they didn't have and in the process cheating teams who were living within their means. And approach Stevenson who can walk for free, offer him what he was on before taking a 50% pay cut, plus add another 1500 on top, remind him he'll be playing in the division he is heading too anyway where his club will likely's ask him to take another wage cut, only to see sevco sail past them and promoted. Yeah Gary, I don't think he'll jump ship either when you lay it out like that.... But which of Sevco/Jambos will take Grainger???
