Drew
Just in case anyone has missed a great thread that is running over on P&B with dozens of fantastic pics and memories from old stadiums across the country. Dip in and wallow in a warm, nostalgic glow: http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/209779-your-old-stadium/page-
pozbaird
Some of my photos from the days after the 'Final Chapter' book project ended. Includes the final 'open day' for fans to have a last wander around, the selling off of turf and items in the Caley Stand, the demolition..... and my last look at the North Bank roofless lavvies. dani bongo
I'm still saddened but understand why we had to sell the old grun on Love St and seeing Pozbairds pictures brings it all back. When I moved away in 1978 Paisley was constantly changing. The high flats at Camphill where I lived, Causeyside St where I stayed on visits back home and the whole new moving forward of a town where I grew up. My only constant with Paisley was Love St. and it was extremely sad but inevitable that it would come to an end. Those pictures are sad but bring back happy memories, thanks Poz.
