Isabella Duke
Odense played Motherwell in the Europa League in 2010 and beat them 3-1 on aggregate. Eric played in both legs. The Danish league is of a slightly higher standard than ours, as coefficient shows, and Odense are one of their better teams. His last three moves since Qatar have been a side ward or upward move. From Denmark to one of Israel's best teams, and then to one of Serbia's best teams, where he was released in December. All three of those leagues are at least as good if not better than our own. Without question he is good enough for this level if he's fit enough. That's going to be the only issue in my opinion; getting him fit. Yes, he should certainly be up to SPL standard. With Goodwin in midfield and Magennis up front with Thompson we now have thuggery, height and pace. Hopefully Danny will use these attributes ala ICT style and we can go on to win the Scottish Cup... Seaside Nipper
You have to laugh at the Danny Haters... So pissed off he signed Kello, Wylde, Magennis, (proven pros at this level) and Goncalves, Dummet, Newton, Campbell ... then blooded McLean, McGinn, Naismith, Kelly, Reilly... re-signed McAusland, signed McGregor etc, etc... He's now had the temerity to sign an ex Man-u player, current international having represented his country at the african cup of nations (and won it) runner up to France in the Fifa Con Fed cup, played at the world cup finals... and is hoping signing for saints will help get him there again.... Jeez all it needs is Bahoken to kick-in and the RAI will be in feckin meltdown with the surge in coronary attacks..! I tell you what Dun Utd and the shit McNamara are collectively crapping themselves, and the teams about us will be too when we can field the attack minded selection of our choice from.... Thompson, Magennis, McGowan, Campbell, Wylde, McLean, McGinn, Newton, Bahoken, with D>M (Djemba & Goody) backing them up, Naismith and Kelly helping to rip them a new one on the flanks, and the possibility Teale will come back this season. I wanna see this line-up in full flow! Danny has the tools, it's what he does with them .................that is and always has been his perceived problem. Imo the quality of player we have at this club should see us comfortably mid table. Presently we are anything but that...................work in progress
Hambud
Ohh, Djemba, Djemba, Eric Djemba, Djemba's gonna get you man? to what tune? There is a bit in Lionel Richies all night long that I've always thought would suit "Ooh Djemba Djemba" think it might fit your suggestion. Magic Monkey
thuggery, height and pace. Pretty much what made the Yardley/Basher/Mendes combo so potent.
Scabby Dug
Looks like he'll be in Goodwin's position for the Aberdeen clash, and Goodwin moved to CB in place of Cheesy, as Cheesy's red card appeal was rejected.

Doakes
The thing a like most about this signing is that we've signed someone of real quality, with ambition. It's clear that the lad is desperate to get into this Cameroon squad for the WC and thinks St Mirren is his best chance at it. In the past week, St Mirren have trended twice on Twitter - due to Djemba-Djemba, and #NoToNovo. Lots of fans/players/managers are on Twitter and you can be sure that we've raised a few eyebrows around Europe. It gives the club a new identity. Instead of being seen as a shite wee club - we're suddenly seen as a club with fans who stand together for a cause - and bringing in some decent names despite our tight budget. Well done the club in firstly telling Novo to GTF, and now bringing in a player with real credentials.
