Robo
Was told yesterday from a reliable source that a lot of talking has been done but no firm offer has been made. Any idea if the board's asking price is still the same that was being asked of 10000 Hours? The longer this goes on, surely they'll be forced to drop the price. I wonder if it would ever get low enough that a fan's takeover could come back into the equation. I note that since the demise of the 10000 Hours bid, the pledges, had they been allowed to accumulate, would be around the £200k mark by now.

smcc
David Wong would not have been in the boardroom. Could it have been the Directors' Guest Lounge?

waldorf34
Not great that a quick google on Jim Methven brings up an article like this; http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/exclusive-police-fury-as-drive-against-1051155 What is worse is someone like Graeme not mentioning the alleged connection to organised crime and then our directors trying to get major shareholders to sell their shares to facilitate a 75 percent takeover that would involve selling land etc to fund that takeover. Can we trust this board ,or are they just desparate to get money and get out ,time they opened their minds to sell to existing shareholders and fans
Vambo57
Dr Wong Dr Who? David Wong would not have been in the boardroom. Could it have been the Directors' Guest Lounge? Yep, could have, there were kids there too. If we have an Asian/Chinese Club Doctor it was probably him then. Just had some inscrutable news....The fat bloke munching on a pie... I think his name is Dr.Fumanchu

Can we trust this board ,or are they just desparate to get money and get out ,time they opened their minds to sell to existing shareholders and fans The reason the BoD have so many shares is that they unwrote 2 shares issues to existing sharesholders and fans - both of which ended up with virtually nil take up...
Vambo57
You are right that that is why they ended up with so much shares but, It wasn't "virtually nil take up". Even then, they did not have a majority shareholding, they have had to go into a consortium with other shareholders to get that majority. Something which anyone could have attempted, if they so wished.
