Drew
Damn fine posting Sir. Last two paragraphs made me laugh out loud. Take a bow! I concur. I couldn't have expressed it better.
Leicester Saint
I concur. I couldn't have expressed it better. Let me be the next to agree. The last 2 paragraphs were so abusive, venomous, and downright fantastically good, I had to check in case I'd written them. Well said! Dirty Sanchez
Derek Adams was also guilty of shameful cowardice, in the manner in which he quickly nipped down the tunnel at the end of the game, before I had a chance to get down the stairs to hurl a torrent of abuse at him. It was a ghost-like disappearance.

E=Mc2
No, I think that's us safe now. I haven't worked it out myself but I can't believe that there can be any possible combination of results which could relegate us now, even if we lose our last 2 games. Can anyone confirm? We could go to the play off on goal difference. Edited May 3, 2014 by E=Mc2

BOOM! A screamer. We sit behind the goal and it looked good at the time, but a better hit you will struggle to see.

E=Mc2
Gus' best season was in the SPL was 2007/8 when we finished 10th with 41 points - 2 years before he was sacked for finishing 10th on 34 points. Danny Lennon has only ever delivered less than 34 points on 1 occasion, 33 points in his first season in charge. If you are going to imply that finishing with 34 points is our highest ever SPL finish, tell me if that would be good enough to avoid the play off place this year. I was pretty supportive of Gus, and wasn't convinced by DL's first season but since then DL has been a modest improvement on Gus, we've finished with 42 points and 39 points the last two season and may well break the 40 points barrier again, something Gus only managed once in the SPL in 4 attempts. You shouldn't bother trying to educate the lad. He will only mention that the Rongers are not in the league, as though that is Danny's fault. Hambud
I had a "discussion" with someone in front of me who was going ape because Magennis had come on and he was a waste of space. I pointed out that it would mean a change of shape and an injection of pace as we needed to try something different... but the mind was made up and it was an awful sub!!! Magennis has impressed me the last two home games when he has come on... and he has contributed to good results. Big Josh has definitely won me over with his last few performances. He's not likely to get goals but his pace and size is enough to upset opposition defences. A bit like Emile Heskey.

davidg
was this Div just fishing for 'hits'? He followed up by saying Goodwin hadn't trained all week with a calf strain. Great performance and even better as he was 50/50 for playing.
BAWZ
As this is the first ever season of the Premiership, you could also say that this is our LOWEST ever league position... We sacked Gus Macpherson after our then highest ever SPL position - and he had a much inferior starting position - so the hypocrites can't have it both ways! I for one was not in favour of sacking Gus, so I don't fall into that category. However, getting rid of Danny, if we finish seventh, will seem unbelievable to fans of other clubs around the country. I'd be amazed if Ross County sack Adams even if they lose the play-off and go down. In fact, I'd be amazed if any of the other clubs in the bottom six part with their managers at the end of what has been a very competitive season, and some of them have bigger budgets than we do. Also, the suggestion that Danny should go based on a direct comparison with Gus is a nonsense argument. Two wrongs don't make a right. BAWZ
We could go to the play off on goal difference. And I could get a phone call from Megan Fox offering me free blow jobs for a year - but neither of those is actually going to happen. (Megan lost my number)
Kemp
I don't like this overconfidence about us being guaranteed safety now. Killie win today and we are 4 points ahead of County with two games to go. Getting relegared from that position is the type of thing St Mirren specialise in!
