chalky1
There are a few legit Adobe updates going about just now
zebrakid
Trovi is an absolute nightmare to remove worse for some reason on Chrome rather than Internet explorer best to download updates from Adobe direct rather than a dialogue box

I was caught out a year or so ago by this. Fortunately Malwarebytes sorted it for me. Always wary now of any notifications for Adobe and I download from their "official" site. RickMcD
Try using Maleware Bytes. . Is Malware Bytes definitely safe to download, even the free one?
salmonbuddie
I've got the free version on my laptop, Rick, and was so impressed with the job it did that I downloaded the Android version for my phone. You have to manually scan once your free trial is up but it's no great hardship - I'll probably buy the full version when my Virgin protection runs out in a few months. The Android version is completely free, btw.

FTOF
I've also been re-directed to a site telling me that my IE is not the latest version and to download it from the site which s definitely not Microsoft. Don't be fooled.
