Also helped us on the way to winning the Scottish Cup. His goal at Cappielow where he sneaked behind O'Hara in anticipation of him playing it back to the keeper was genius and he persevered to score a classic winner that day also. Not the silkiest player, obviously, but he scored goals. Edited March 16, 2018 by zico

scrappy coco
After been blessed with the likes of the 3 Franks and Doug Somner for the previous few years any new CF would have a lot to live up too, sadly for Chalmers he just wasn't in the same class as any of those guys, but TBH the whole team was on the slide by then even though we won the cup in 87. still he certainly doesn't deserve to be on this list, not the best but far from being one of the worst.. The problem for/with Imrie was the other players we had available when he was here. Once Kenny McLean returned from injury Imrie was not an automatic first choice and he dropped even further down the pecking order the following season when John McGinn emerged - our other midfield options at the time also included Carey, Goodwin, McGowan & Teale. Looking back we had some squad in 2012/13! Edited March 17, 2018 by Bud the Baker
