Kello certainly earned his corn last night if the highlights are anything to go by.

I've watched Div's highlights and Kello did have a great game. St.Mirren had a couple of reasonable chances in the first half but Aberdeen squandered a good half dozen chances during the game. Both Aberdeen goals were scrappy as hell. The second one proves that even a shitey cross into the penalty box can pay off but it still broke luckily to the Aberdeen player. Their first was an Arthur Montford. That's a stramash for our younger readers. Credit to our boys for the fight-back especially as it was a weakened team we had out.

Things are beginning to look up for us - we've scored in our last 3 league games (twice in 2 of them) and had a win, draw and a narrow defeat to Celtic. While the defence is such that we are still not hard to beat at least we are beginning to look competitive and key players like Goodwin and McGinn are beginning to hit a bit of form, Ball and McLean are getting among the goals. Crawford Allan even awarded us a penalty!

Right. So you weren't at the game yet you make the comment that Saints were lucky. Would you like to explain that one?

Could it be that he has listened to everyone's opinion who was at the game and has come to said conclusion ? whistling.gif

The stats for last nights game were similar to the stats when we played Dundee at home , yet the pundits decide Dundee get a well earned three points in Paisley and we steal a point at Aberdeen .

Think the difference is the pundits for the Dundee game weren't biased North East fuds. Richard Gordon, 'Spencey' and Willy Miller have hated our club since SGG rightly threw Milne's 8-8-8 shite out of court. Good :)

I wasn't there but by all accounts we deserved to lose, fair enough. We certainty didn't deserve to lose at Fir Park, at home to Dundee and we probably deserved a point at Rugby Park and at home to Celtic, yet we lost all of them.

These things tend to even themselves out over a season, we were certainly due a lucky result, and we should be due a few more!

Very fortunate to get something from the game delighted with a point.

But could of so easily of been atleast a 10-4 score line Aberdeen missed tons of very good chances and can't believe wylde never passed it to ball at 0-0 although it was a great ball in later on.

The amount of free headers they had on the highlights is frightening cheesy n goody lucky boys. Hope we have funds in January for a decent cb because we don't have 1

An alternative in the meantime would be to bring in a defensive coach to get the best out of what we've got.

I think Naismith isn't playing well at the moment. Seems to get caught central too much

I agree that some of Kello's shot stopping was superb but he worries me with his tendency to not actually catch the ball. We've lost a few goals due to him parrying the ball straight to the opposition and there are at least two occasions in last night's highlights where the same could have happened. I'd still give Ridgers a go. Don't want to detract from a great point earned though.
