Tommy
Why are Newco not playing their cup game today like all the other diddy clubs clubs instead of getting shafted by Derby ?
Isle Of Bute Saint
It's because old firm teams are aloud to cancel important games for friendly games. See what would happen if we tried that.
stlucifer
It's because old firm teams are aloud to cancel important games for friendly games. See what would happen if we tried that. But there is no such thing as the old firm. There is nothing old about Newco as a club.
BaldyOzBud
Greed! The ugly sisters get more money by playing these fixtures because of the enormous number of bigoted scum that they attract to them. I remain appalled by this but still can't see it changing anytime soon. Get them both tae F*ck!

I thought it was only Scottish Premiership clubs that were allowed
chalky1
Ibrox was getting used for the Commenwealth (rugby 7's) so the game is called off (re-arraneged) . Nothing untoward about it

Tommy
Ibrox was getting used for the Commenwealth (rugby 7's) so the game is called off (re-arraneged) . Nothing untoward about it I was under the impression they were draw to play Queen Park away in the league cup. (Being played at Airdrie) Was it not their game against Hibs at home in the diddy cup that was put back due to the games ?
chalky1
I was under the impression they were draw to play Queen Park away in the league cup. (Being played at Airdrie) Was it not their game against Hibs at home in the diddy cup that was put back due to the games ? Not sure, I was told that it was because of the Commonwealth games, that was from a few Rangers fans that I know and people working in some way at the games
Tommy
Reason was because Airdrie were playing at home yesterday in the league cup so Queen Park and Newco had to arrange an other date for their game.

pozbaird
Darren McGregor and the Commonwealth Games rugby sevens... both lasted two days at Ibrox in 2014.
Stuart Dickson
New club, same old referees! Truly dreadful decision to send off the boy Handling. Surprise surprise! Hibs by far the better team, so ref steps in Yeah, that was my take on it too. Rangers started well, but when Hibs finally settled they played all the nice football and looked by far the better team even if they looked a bit toothless in the final third. The officials made a few dubious decisions - the sending off being the worst of the lot I reckon.
