faraway saint
Here it is, a nice thread to help people reconcile their differences, a place to remind us we're all Scots and leave the bitterness that slowly crept into the great Referendum thread. Whatever the result, it's shown we are a great country and we can continue to be great. Scotland, gods country.

RickMcD
THE BRITISH ISLES IS WONDERFUL SCOTLAND ENGLAND WALES EIRE NORTHERN IRELAND LETS AW BE PALS AND FLOURISH. We dinnae need to be ruled from Europe. Nice one, Shull. Unfortunately I think it's far too late to come out of Europe without mayhem ensuing. What Ted Heath told us in the 70's was the biggest pile of shit thrown at the British people ever until the SNP white paper.

Seaside Nipper
All this talk of oil , its ownership , it's longevity........its value Reserves and viability, the benefits, the recurring value, well its a fortune either end of the forecast, so its a broad estimate, we all agree on that Scotland's oil will last somewhere between 25 and 40 years, fair enough , that's what the pundits say , what about England's............................? About four days
bluto
But remember, they've got their "vast reserves of easily extractable shale gas". I just wish that they would find the biggest reserve of it directly under Westminster and the City of London - I wonder if they would be so keen to "frack" that.No need. That bit of the country already more than earns its keep. Fracking should be restricted to economic backwater puddles.
