dave.j
Chic saying Tommy hasn't had time.......F*** sake he has been looking at these players as assistant for years ..he's now had about 5 months counting preseason and it's just be utterly utterly disastrous ! Exact same shite he came out with when we sacked his pal Gerry Collins. Collins had been lambie's assistant for years.
chrissy
Wouldn't give it to Thommo we need an experienced manager to rescue us from this mess... not the right time if u ask me
lovestreet
Yeah but look at the resources they have to work with......they had over 1000 fans there tonight....that's the kind of finances we just can't hope to compete with Christ I didn't think of that

Radar
Just realised tonight means we must be relying on Plummer & Wylde coming back. We're doomed
Highland Saint
The thing is THE SCORE LINE FLATTERED US FFS That's actually true. How anyone can treat the fans and press with such disdain, put that out on the park and expect anyone to think it's 'about to click' is beyond me. He may well be here to stay but not all season. It's just the unknown of how many more games of this pish the BoD have to put up with. 18 months salary (worst case) is drop in the ocean compared to several seasons in championship and nae cup runs. saltcoatsbuddie
it cant be as some on here were convinced thommo would just come in and start scoring for fun,tc thought that as well, would have been better resting thommo tonight and playing with ball up front we were never going to win anyway ,and anyone who thought we were must be on the board Just realised tonight means we must be relying on Plummer & Wylde coming back. We're doomed
bluto
Ok - let's be positive.... saints had 40% possession tonight (unlike Saturday with 34%). Progress! Good, eh? Ayrshire Saints
Can see SG bringing in someone like Ian McCall in January to bolster our management team, would be a master stroke IMO So we can bullet the manager and appoint his assistant again at the end of the season. That would be sensible ‼

windae cleaner
Iconic figures don't always work out as managers. See Dalglish, McCoist, Shearer... Dalglish won England's top league with 2 different clubs
ronaldo
He's got to have one bit of dignity and leave, he's no more than a wage thief, but the players are just throwing in the towel and need a boot up the arse. A board that doesn't give a f**k about the fans, a manager that doesn't give a f**k about the fans and players that don't give a f**k about the fans. But then again why should they, I'm sure they would survive without us

Wilbur
When will the BoD 'consortium' acknowledge to themselves that no one "suitable" is prepared to cough up for their poisoned chalice of a 52% shareholding ? Maybe the time has come for them to take up SMiSA's offer of cash for new shares and then the club could afford to sack TC without dipping into the BoD's own pockets again. The longer they shilly-shally with TC still in charge the more revenues from home game attendances will plummet and ultimately cost more than bulleting TC immediately.
