I think it's too light in midfield. We need to make room for Osbourne if fit.

Osbourne does break up play, but both Mallan and McGinn can do that too and they both have better distribution, keeping the ball in opponents final third for longer and relieving the pressure on our defenders for longer. (in my opinion obviously)

I,m thinking we are putting together a decent squad capable of staying up , and we do probably need a couple of experienced central midfielders / central defenders to give us a bit of solidness , but when we get that sorted I think we,ll have a right decent team , and the opportunity to change things as the game progresses.

Heading down to cover the game for the OS and staying the night if anyone is up for a post-match pint.

Planning to go to the national football museum on the Wednesday, dunno if anyone has suggestions for other things to do.

My train from London gets in about 4.30, so was planning on a few pre-match refreshments. nologo.gif

Is there a particular boozer that everyone's heading for? If not, any suggestions?

Was down at the Man city v Hull game yesterday, The Picadilly tavern along on the left coming out from the train station was ok, there are a lot of gay bars in the city for any of you chaps who like ballet and going to the theatre ooolala-sign.gif

No pubs near the ground but not needed as there are bars in the stadium.

I must warn that it's a long half hour walk from the train station to the ground - i would advise a taxi or the tram.

Think this is a real chance for the players and (mainly) the fans to sell the club.

There will be a few big wigs in the crowd I imagine, from USA and the Middle East. If we can impress them by creating an atmosphere it may spark an interest in purchasing our club.

Let's make some noise :)

Totaly agree there will be a few big hitters at the game as it's new yorks first ever match. So anyone connected to the club will be there. Hopefully our fans will generate. Done noise and we vocalise they can but out club for 1.5 million

Yes let's impress them, is it ok if we get someone else to do the PR posts though, i think your predictive text needs a bit of fine tuning.
