TopCat Posted February 14, 2015 Report Share Posted February 14, 2015 HT 0-1 Scoreline does us a big favour to be honest. ICT have been excellent and could easily be 3 or 4 up. The league table is right, ICT are one of the top teams in Scotland. They're superbly organised and disciplined defensively and they carry a pacey threat going forward. For us it's been poor. Said prematch we cannot start Arquin and Thompson together, it has to be one or t'other. We started both. We can carry one immobile forward who doesn't track back, we can't carry two. This is why we've been cut open so regularly, we only have 8 players defending as opposed to 9. Remarkably, we are still in the game. Mainly because Mackay isn't an ICT player anymore, if he still was we'd be 4 down. Need a sea change second half if we're going to get anything. Need to get Thompson or Arquin off. No-one stepping up in midfield. Tess on for Osbourne- Tess at CH Goodwin moves forward. Snoopy on for McGinn. Change up front as well. Be unbelievably bad in the first half after replacing our creative force with a second striker and lull Caley Thistle into a false sense of security where they miss a few great chances.
