Are We In Administration Trouble?

Recommended Posts

C'mon Gilmour and your BoD, come out and tell us what's really going on down there. Are we in severe financial trouble hence the constant cut backs, letting players go for relatively nothing, appointing the cheap option over and over.

Looks to me like we are being run like a club heading for Administration and the board are hoping they get a buyer before that happens and that way they'll never need to tell the support what's actually going on!

I actually heard that cash flow was part of the reason we sold McLean.

It was either that or £50k had to be found/loaned.

Not saying that administration was a possibility but we clearly sail close to the wind with cash flow.

Seems that's correct Dave !

The only explanation for how we're being run at the moment is that we are in financial trouble.

Don't try and hide it from the supporters

Duh! Of course we are in financial trouble.

It's because we spend every penny which comes in without creating a rainy day fund.

Crowds have dropped away so it should be no surprise whatsoever to find that we are struggling.

Spending every penny and leaving no room for slack is a disastrous business model.

Is there ever going to be a point where fans start to get how clubs are run?

Bollox.

Saints fans know the cost of running an SPL team without turning it into sevco.

It's a fine line and K Mclean's departure helps fund that.

If you were a Saints fan you'd know this.

Not every club can have (or would want) off-the-radar-billionaires....

It doesn't need a billionaire. It simply needs someone to recognise that we need a rainy day fund to, for example, allow a good player to be bought at a crucial time or for the wages to be paid when 2000 turn up for a midweek game.

Spending every penny with no allowance for fluctuations in a business which is known to be particularly prone to cash fluctuations is borderline financial mismanagement.

You've bought into the BY bollox.

There is no suspicion, no hint of financial mismanagement.

Real Saints fans are already well aware of the difficulties that can be encountered.

The BoD have already recognised the fluctuations and have been running the club more than adequately.

BY is a troll. Can't you recognise even that?

Bit of a dramatic change from the club that went out and signed thommo, teale, McGowan, Carey, hasslebaink, tesselaar etc all in the same per season to what we have now. A team of wee boys earning peanuts! Then we sell our best player for at least half of what he was worth.

Doesn't add up as just the way a normal club is run. Something has happened in the last 2 years thats made us completely tear our whole squad apart and replace it with boys

Call me whatever you want but at the end of the day even you know the dramatic change in our playing staff and the constant cut backs spells trouble for our club

Noone else in the league is in such a pitiful state

Fwiw , imo BY is not missing the target and splattering the wall. These things, changes, rabid fiscal prudence, whatever other machinations behind the scenes, are very likely to be a pre amble to closing a deal just as they are a clearing the decks before the Iceberg strike

Either way frankly , this was always shaping up and now is proving to be the season from hell, playing and results wise aside.

An utter shitfest.
