He's a cup winner and some time captain in one of the most successful periods in our history and I wish him every success. (Couldn't be arsed wading through the character assassinations after glancing at the first page of this thread so apologies if this is covered elsewhere - is the Scandanavian transfer window open? He wouldn't have kicked a ball the rest of the season so why leave now not as he had made up his mind to leave. He can't sign for another club until the Scottish transfer window opens in June, meanwhile it'll take time to recover from the injury and then to build his fitness back up - I'm with the conspiracy theory guys on this one............. Not as far as I'm aware, if you're in contact when the window ends that's you until the next one. Is September the best guess as to when McAusland will be fit? It just seems a bit contrived to me................. If your contract is up at the end of the season, I'm sure you're allowed to talk to other clubs, during the six months prior to your deal ending, if you inform your current club. i.e. negotiate a PCA if you like. They are the ones who gave us open top buses, major trophy wins, lifetime memories, and shite stages in County Square where we could see the photographers but not the team. Remember, our contract terminations usually involve us making payment to the players involved, if you believe the forum experts who seem to know everything about players/managers salaries and all other financial transactions, including ground sales.
