St. Mirren Looking For A New Manager

Recommended Posts

Could be Interesting choice , in the mould of plucking a manager form lower league ie Lennon & Hendrie, done a good job with Brechin and was also involved with sfa technical director

He's got a 43% win rate with Brechin.

I'm not sure whether that's good or bad in the big scheme of things.

Cheers!

Couldn't be arsed checking.

Would've gotten us 49 points plus any draws in a 38 game season.

If you're managing at a top club, expected to challenge for a title then a 43% win rate might get you sacked though.

McKinnon won a few manager of the month awards this season. Couple of interviews with him:

Better than Jeffries (although most folk would be) but I think he once signed Andy Dow for Lochee which should mean he's instantly removed from the shortlist.

Edit: Guy from a paper in Fife saying Raith want to appoint McKinnon but we've now interviewed him.

He's at Starks Park just now having talks with Raith.

If it's not Teale then I genuinely think this is wide open.

Whoever impresses at interview will get it.

If it's not Teale it will need to be someone who's prepared to work with him, unless he's willing to walk away from his contract....

Jeffries would be an even worse appointment than Adams, Reid and Stark.

And that's saying something. How do you take Dunfermline from the top flight from the bottom half of league 1? Ask JJ!

It's called administration.

You reckon that was Jeffries fault do you? lol.gif
