kevo_smfc
According to a source via twitter, a few clubs interested in Ridgers. Quite surprised by this. http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/05/19/rotherham-and-barnsley-tracking-st-mirren-keeper-ridgers/?utm_medium=share%20service&utm_campaign=social%20media&utm_source=twitter&utm_content=HITCdeadlineday

Perhaps this has attracted some interest?
Stevie88
Wouldn't be that bothered if he left.
JJ McG
he's a complete bombscare, we can do far better than him.

Kemp
Yes, excellent signing for Rotherham, he's a million pound player and no mistake!
ulysses
Wouldn't mind if he stayed. It's likely that Kello will leave, so we'll be getting another keeper in anyway. Whoever that turns out to be and Ridgers can fight it out for the number one jersey.
Sonny
I would take the £1M. We could use it to pay off all the folk that have left and are still getting compensation
linwood buddie
If it gives us more money to bring in a wee bit of quality it can't be a bad thing.
FTOF
Yes, excellent signing for Rotherham, he's a million pound player and no mistake! £750K and another £250K when he gets his first Scotland cap?
stlucifer
£750K and another £250K when he gets his first Scotland cap? The we'd end up with 750 grand.

stlucifer
I don't think we'll get a better keeper while languishing in the championship so I hope we get a good fee if he does go. We'll need it to brick up the goals!
windae cleaner
I quite like him. Good shot stopper But glued to his line has no pressence in his 6 yard box and not comfortable with the ball at his feet If we get money for him=result I see we were in for Bain but Dundee offered him more money Serial cheating feckers

TopCat
Is he signed up for next season? I was under the impression it was a one year deal he signed? He signed for 2 years. Not surprised he's attracted interested. Of course he's far from perfect, but at 24 he's young for a keeper and will improve. He also had several good games for us where his performances and saves won us points.
JM1
Will he be able to leave his line to sign the contract? Tough choices ahead for Mark.

He has had a few decent games but hardly stand out. Fair play though, if he gets a move and we earn a bit of coin I wouldn't be that disappointed. On the other hand he could do a job for us next season.
Ayrshire Saints
I would take the £1M. We could use it to pay off all the folk that have left and are still getting compensation I'd take £10k he's bog standard and easily replaced. Money for old rope if bids do come in. BuddieinEK
Mark Howard got a lot of stick from our all knowing support yet I always felt there was a good keeper in there. He's doing not to shabbily now... way out of our league. When are we going to learn to support players?

Rabinho
If we got money for him I'd be pretty happy. He's been ok but no better than that, easily replaceable.

Thank fck we didn't get him, that would have sent us into admin! I'm assuming clubs will get some sort of a fee from the SFA if a player is called up?
