FFS, and if we'd played a "diddy" team and won easily you'd be moaning.

Didn't we get suckered last season by playing shite teams pre season?

Let's not kid ourselves on here, the team is severely lacking in most areas and the season starts this Friday night, a tad worrying.

How many goals have scored this pre season?

A wee wake up call for all concerned that we are still a club going through a great deal of change in personnel but nothing to get a too worried about. We won't be facing any sides in the Scottish Championship who are as good as Sheffield Wednesday so don't hit the panic button quite yet.

For the level we'll be playing at this season, we're not really severely lacking anywhere other than in the striking department.

However, if we want to mount a serious challenge for 2nd place we do need another 'keeper and a CH, in addition to the aforementioned striker (s).

I have already said it will take time. We are well behind and rangers will thrash us. We can however make play offs

14 players out. I hope murray has several players to bring in. Clearly he has spent don't be surprised to see a saints team lose heavily next week and down in greenock. if we don't get reinforcements soon tho we will be a mid table team

Fcuk, that was a quick drop. lol.giflol.giflol.gif

You're funny Norrie. bye1.gif

Sounds like conlan is having yet another poor game think we could still need a left back

And a keeper, striker, centre half oh and the holding midfielders don't hold.

Playing against what I would imagine is a very decent championship side, but looking at our squad it's worrying how lightweight we are.

It could be a very tough season ahead if the right players aren't added by the Morton game, we can right off the game next week, that means little to where we will finish this season

Great to see the absolutely seething meltdowns have already started

Meaningless game, matters not a jot. Re-enforces the need a couple of new strikers and experience at the back but we already knew we were lacking there.

A horsing is probably a good thing. The manager will be left under no illusions as to where we need to strengthen. The BoD might also consider utilising some of the McGinn development fee money to this end (*coughs*).
