He was knackered as he put in such a good shift but we still don't have a player to replace him when he needs to come off. Carswell obviously ain't that man. He may have been knackered... but he covered more ground in his last 5 minutes than Carswell has all season! If Carswell was truly brought in to replace Goodwin then we're doomed! Indeed... the holding a player down to stop a goalscoring chance was a stick on yellow... ignored. My theory is that refs now know that if they get a hint of a chance to book Goodwin then they take it, as it makes the rest of their game easier.
