BaldyOzBud
Looks promising, a six footer with a decent looking record, could be a very good signing, along with Webster and Shankland this would significantly bolster our squad

Hambud
Who? Genuinely... who? Times like this I realise I know no players in Scottish football apart from Saints players, and ex saints players. And cunts that train with us and then sign for other teams. Magic Monkey
Not everyone will be pleased. Exactly: Murray's inability to sign a player that Vambo has heard of really demonstrates the extent to which he's lost the dressing room, etc etc.
Vambo57
If he can stay fit it would be a major coup. Sorry Stevie, but signing say... Virgil Van Dyke, would be a major Coup. I've NEVER heard of this guy, but of course IF he can keep fit, I hope he becomes a household name!

I had genuinely never heard of him, and asked the question. P.S. I see I was not alone in being uncognizant (word of the week alert!) Rabinho
If he has signed I think he's a better shout than Reid. Spoke to Utd and Well fans about both and Watson sounds the better of the 2, if he stays fit.

I was just making a flippant point about Lord Pityme's ability to turn literally anything into a negative about Ian Murray.

I'm surprised that you have NEVER heard of him.
Sergie's no1 fan
Was a great prospect at United. Ability has never been in question. It all comes down to his fitness. In fact I think he got sent off for United in the 4-1 pumping on boxing day a couple of years ago.
TopCat
Well he had played over 100 top games with United including several against us. I seem to remember him scoring against us once too, although could be wrong. He also came off the bench in the 2010 cup final. Obviously he's recently been blighted by injury, hence his availability. But yeah, would be a good signing. As always, will only believe when I see him holding the strip though.
Soctty
Ok, a major coup for St. Mirren. We will never sign a player like VVD. I'm surprised that you have NEVER heard of him. I'm surprised that some haven't heard of him. Was highly thought of at United initially I think. The fact he's been loaned to Hibs & now has no club suggests he's not kicked on. Time for Murray to get him back on track.
faraway saint
I've heard of him now, he's more threads than Coates Mill.

Saint Garf
Good signing if true, I remember him playing against us, was surprised to hear he was without a club. If fit, he'd be a good addition for most top flight teams. Add Webster and Shankland and I'd be delighted!
Stu
Great signing if it comes off and he can stay fit. Did he not get sent off when we beat United 4-1? Funny how we can attract guys like this and Webster now we're in the Championship yet struggled in the top flight.

JJ McG
Watson will be the only signing today. If that's the case I hope the club have told webster to piss off now, he's had long enough to decide.
