TopCat
Shankland - who's been quiet - just rattled the inside of the post with a great bit of skill on the turn and volley. It's edgy and competitive and the score line is a true reflection.

TopCat
HT 1-1 Score line definitely a fair one so far. Neither team did enough to be ahead. The start of this game was similar to the one on Tuesday. We controlled the game early and went ahead through a very nice goal. This time from a great run and finish by McMullan. As on Tuesday, we fail to kick on and control the game and look for the second. Instead we get edgy and try to see it out. The equaliser comes, this time through a certain penalty after a daft challenge by Baird. After that it's been nip and tuck. Livi have had a few long range efforts and Langfield a couple of nervous moments. Shankland cracked the post in a rare bit of involvement. For us I think McMullan and Gallagher have played well. Gallagher looks more comfortable on the flanks, he isn't a striker. Webster looking assured as you'd expect. Agnew and Mallan have been pretty poor, the failure of either of them to get foot on ball and dictate play has played a large part in us not being ahead. JM1
Pretty crappy stuff with the odd flash of some decent play.
Drew
Penalty award in front of us. Didn't look a penalty to me, or people sitting around us. Will have to see again. What happened to the injury time? All in all, decent enough, but again, not enough in midfield. Referee has been shite, but so it goes. Good to see forward players with a bit of pace and mobility. I think that the Livi players are much more physically imposing than ours which I think is playing it's part in the midfield struggling to get a proper hold in the game. There are signs (though not enough) that if we can get more of the ball in midfield then we can play some decent stuff.

Doakes
Murray's half time team talk should just be to encourage the players to believe they can win the game. Feel like this is our strongest possible 11 - guys like Howieson and Morgan should be taken aside and told that they need to win their place in the starting 11. All about having an 11 we can trust to perform and win games, tinkering time is over.
Dare
We look dangerous going forward but guilty of trying one pass too many. It's still not clicking in midfield though which is s worry. Shankland was unlucky with great bit of skill then rattled the post. Goody is sticking to what he is good at breaking up play and is having a good game so far. Fancy Shankland to score second half and hopefully we can get the win we badly need.
BuddieinEK
Thugs and cheats! COYS Need to move Agnew forward to midfield and release Gallagher to play alongside Shankland. Two holding midfielders invites them onto us! AND FFS ... get somebody up the park when defending corners!!
Kemp
Midfield is still a shambles, cant hold on to the ball, almost no movement or invention. Penalty was a stupid one to give away. Livvy boy has made the most of it but it is a wild swipe inside the box. Penalty every time. We do look lively up front, midfield need to start providing some service. Cant see that happening until Agnew is off.
murray street
St mirren trying to walk the ball in to the net, should be more direct in the livvy box
TopCat
Been rubbish second half. Livi aren't any good, they've lost 3 games in this league for a reason. They're good enough to hold us out comfortably and look dangerous on the break though. Get Thompson on.
nosferatu
Been rubbish second half. Livi aren't any good, they've lost 3 games in this league for a reason. Same reason that St. Mirren have lost 3 games against Championship opposition this season?

TopCat
Livi the better team here, pinning us back. Corner throw in corner for them. We can't get a hold of the ball and can't get out or half. Morgan coming on.
Balmullo Bud
Torture. We need to fluke a goal, but that would involve something called a shot.
ronaldo
Lack of urgency is embarrassing, if we have any ambition to do anything this year these are the games we must win, Agnew and mallan are totally missing
TopCat
Morgan on Goodwin off. He's been one of our better players, west stand booing. Gamble of a sub there. Goodwin's been stopping them in midfield... If we lose a goal now...,
