charlie
Tom Hendrie time 3 -4-3 Goodwin as sweeper. Thomson Gallagher and mallon up front. Midfield will look after itself. Just a thought.
Lets be frank
2 up front with Morgan and Mcmullan told to attack at will and get the ball in early. Livi are a poor team and a good win/performance would do wonders for us.
TediousTom
Said before the Morton game we needed to avoid defeat, we did, good. We need to win here. If we can't beat either Dumbarton or Livi at home, kiss f**king goodbye to the playoffs, Three points however how, no excuses anymore. 3. You have my total agreement. I would also like to see us vastly improve our workrate and I will be angered if start this match with one striker. My bunnet will be shaken in anger if one striker walks onto that field! TopCat
Back to wins against Livi will kick start our season . Indeed. If we win these two games it will have been a decent enough start. Progression in both cups and four points from four games isn't great but it's acceptable. If we lose both games though...

gc_SMFC
Sweepers are defunct. We don't have enough pace to play a sweeper. Teams with anything out wide would tear us apart.

TopCat
There would have been pressure on this game even if we had got through tonight. The fact we got miserably papped out in 90 minutes... The pressure is ratcheted up some what. QOTS away the week after... A loss in this one and it will get very ugly very quickly. We have seen how quick our crowd turns on a manager, we seen it last year with Tommy Craig. Murray is a result or two away from the same treatment. norrie82
Most of our support don't care. The board should have told me we would be playing boys this year as we could have saved cash paying to watch this crap

What's the point turning against yet another manager when the real culprits who keep making the appointments sit in their padded seats and only provide funds (so far) to fill a squad with young boys or players who look finished. I still think Murray might turn it around but only with at least 3/4 new players. It's hardly a managers fault if he can't get the players he wants / needs in. Our board are getting off very lightly in all this. A crowd turning on such a young squad will only make things worse.

The vast majority of our fans wanted Murray appointed and congratulated the board when he was. The funds provided to the manager are at least on a par with 7 of the clubs in this division to spend as he sees fit. We spend what comes in, and not a penny more or a less. This is certainly the correct way to run a football club. The days of loading clubs with debt to banks and individuals in the hope of success are over, and thank goodness. Would you like the club to go into debt to get an extra player or two?
Gordon Urquhart
Yes, no backing or ambition from Board. They chucked it years ago seeing us fans as cash cows only. We can watch players of this level at the Racecourse every Saturday for free, Need some investment, reason for turning up. Too many people in jobs there for way too long. TsuMirren
This game could now be rather tasty, good for any neutrals. It'd be nice to see Thommo get a shot off too, it's been a while.

It would appear either we haven't spent the budget or someone has been telling porkies. If we have spent the budget why us IM still talking of signings.
