Music Gigs

Recommended Posts

Paul Weller at Edinburgh Castle was brilliant ,one of the best Weller gigs i’ve been at (except for The Jam) , ended the gig with four Jam songs on the bounce ,really was fantastic .The Stone Foundation were the support ,they were good also ,I found them with a sound similar to The Style Council. It was the only gig i’ve been to where there was no booze on sale and I think it added too the atmosphere.

King Of Birds album launch last Thursday was a cracking night at Stereo. 23 years since I last saw the Gorman brothers in their previous Murmur guise
I had tickets but couldn't go at the last minute.

Gutted as I know a lot of people who were there and are raving about it.

I picked up the album a few months back and love it.

Like you, I was a fan of Murmer and used to regularly go see them.

Saw Stuart the drummer a few months ago... Still playing but works as a music teacher.

Charlie and Stirling are top guys.

Tickets for Michael Kiwanuka go on sale 9th of this month for the Barrowland. His last album was the best of the year. Q magazine are saying his new album could be album of the decade. Bill Withers , Marvin Gay throw a bit of Rolling Stones in there. This London lad will be huge.
