Doakes
Thommo is, possibly might see shankland on for him soon Think we really need to work on the fitness. Seen a few players blowing hard towards the end of games this season! That said, still in this. Come on!
Bart Simpson
Eh? I am on about the substitution. Carswell hasnt kicked his own arse yet this season. Apologies...presumably Murray agreed with Murray street re: defence needing protection. Goody on a booking but was playing very well. Only way to change it now is Shankland for one of the back four and go for it...
Lord Pityme
Thommo is, possibly might see shankland on for him soon Why cant Murray see he needs to be bringing Thommo on at this point to get the best out of him?

murray street
gallagher off for shankland, looking for knock downs from thommo obviously Edited October 25, 2015 by murray street
Bart Simpson
If I were manager i'd gamble now. Baird up top and get some presence in the middle either that or get thommo to stand on the edge of their box and only move to attack... murray street
Very encouraged by st mirren both today and recently, if we can keep this up and get a level of consistency then theres more hope of making the play offs. Looking for the same effort against falkirk next week (they took 5 off dumbarton yesterday) Edited October 25, 2015 by murray street
whydowebother
Based on work rate, endeavour & chances created , a defeat would be a bit harsh on us today.

Despite the fact today may end up being a decent overall performance for us, without home wins we will not be in the play offs. Its simple arithmetic, we need home wins, or we will remain where we are.
murray street
Full time 0-1, great display by st mirren, we were worth at least a point. Langfield in the dog house tonight
TopCat
Yeah even game but we couldn't get the break or bit of quality in front of goal to get the point we deserved. We are improving slowly but surely. Onwards.
elvis
Theres a great chance we will be in the play offs but not at the right end.
Callum Gilhooley
Ach f**k .. We need to fight like that every week from now till the end of the season. A lot better performance .
Bart Simpson
Definitely the better team by a good bit second half, but lacking the cutting edge (that's without the black and white specs on). Hopefully more of the same effort and application next week with a better result!

Doakes
Played well against a side who are by far the best team in the league. Should've got at least a point. Be great for confidence if we beat them in the Petrofac semi. They won't be looking forward to playing us again after that! Taking the positives, if we played like that every week we would win 9 outta 10 times.
Lord Pityme
Again Murray seems obliviousnor clueless to the fact persisting with playing 36 years of age Thommo as a lone striker is not working, he cant trouble a defence for 60 - 80 minutes anymore. He needs to start on the bench with Shankland and Gallacher up front, and McMullan providing them with a range of crosses/passes. It hasn't worked in one single game this season, Thommo only got his goal at QoS by chasing down a wobbly defender.
