chalky1
Can we not just merge all the forums about sacking Murray into one rather staring 4 or 5 new threads everyday
billyg
Can we not just merge all the forums about sacking Murray into one rather staring 4 or 5 new threads everyday Disagree , it's a valid point well worth discussion. Coughlin has often been deemed the worst St Mirren manager of all time but his hands were tied in the transfer market , bargain basement all the way. Murray has targeted and signed players that he wanted , yet has a poorer record than Coughlin. Murray is very much on borrowed time , one more hammering and he's gone ! bluto
Can we not just merge all the forums about sacking Murray into one rather staring 4 or 5 new threads everyday Good idea. It's all just the same old boring mince. It's not a great time to be a Buddie but there's not one original thought or suggestion or joke to be found in any of these new/notnew threads... ... and so there's no pleasure or worth in drowning in copious quantities of the same old, same old shite. Merge the f**kers....

TediousTom
Why wait for one more defeat? Get rid of him now and save everyone some bother. I would wager that Billy like every other fan would have seen Ian Murray go before now but we all believe that the board are failing to act. Today I shall be scanning this forum reguarly for news of his departure for if the board fail to act today then no-one can possibly know what Mr Murray needs to do to ensure he is relieved from his position. I also agree that the point made by the OP was worthy of discussion. Ian Murray has clearly been well supported by the board as he has brought in several players with a half decent pedigree (who really expected to see Andy Webster in the middle of our defence) and failed in the most spectacular of fashions. John Coughlin gets a negative press far in excess of what he deserved and going by Ian Murray's appalling demonstration of what appears to our board to be "acceptable" he should not have been sacked at all! Hmm, next five league games imo are offering a great opportunity.................. the are over by 2nd Jan, but ironically he could well be away just after christmas if he cannot make headway with the team before the next game @ Morton.
