thomsons dropped it
Supposed to go Offshore yesterday but the weather stopped that idea. Been told to stay home until Sunday anyway. Here is a couple of snapshots of the weather up at the boat today, bloody bouncy today I bet. Top one 88 knots (101 mph) and 22.7 metres maximum heave. Bottom one 97 knots ( 111.6 mph ) and maximum heave 18.9 metres.

thomsons dropped it
Maximum heave recorded on Foinaven since we came on station in November '96 is 36 metres....... Most I have seen onboard was 32 metres a few Christmases ago, it was the day we beat R*****s, the game took my mind off feeling weightless....... thomsons dropped it
tsk,tsk...a wee snow flurry and a gentile sea breeze..and its fk this im no workin,,ffs grow a pair and get to work........... Back at work, arrived yesterday, Storm Henry here just now. Some big lumps going through and peaking at Midnight. Strange forecast though, wind is down to 10 knots at midnight but sea state is at its highest then. Wedged in to the wall to stop rolling out the bunk it is then. A few folk who have not been here before still a bit shell shocked after last Friday nights Storm.......Wimps....
FS
Ridiculously old and tallest of trees at the start of Netherhill Rd, currently being converted to logs by a council team armed with chainsaws. Hopefully the residents of 2-6 have all got insurance !
