Silly Talk

Recommended Posts

Yes mostly on silly talk. We can all do without the trolls but without the silly talk, forum traffic would be dramatically reduced and would possibly mean the end of the forum. .

Over the years many a good poster has came and then gone . It also seems that some of the other good posters have reduced their traffic and rarely look in now. .

The forum was better in yesteryear but nothing stays the same. .

Indeed, it seems there is a confusion between what is a "troll" and, so called "silly talk", a rather daft term anyway.

The forum is very diverse, the idea that "we're all St Mirren supporters so we should all get on" or like what each other like is stunningly naive.

It's the fact the forum is diverse that ensures it remains alive, one persons good post is another persons shite.

We all use the forum for different reasons.

"Good posters" is also very subjective as that's purely in the view of similarly minded members.

"trolls" on the other hand, as we debated long and hard, is a continual issue, never really dealt with and so it goes on.

I hope this is enough words to get me into the "good poster" team. wink.png
