St Mirren V Morton 16/4/2016 Fan Solidarity Day

Woulda loved to live in an alternative universe. A universe where I would be able to count the amount of replies after a Morton win and compare it to the reality.

So quiet in here.

If they had beat us today the usual suspects would be on here right now kicking the arse right out it, new threads aplenty. At least now they get the weekend off...?

Well done today saints. Let's hope this helps us to build momentum for next term. Also please.dont ditch Goodwin on the grounds he's too old. He isn't any slower than quinn or carswell who offer v little indeed. Mark kerr gets a game at Falkirk at 34 and seems.to be well liked by Houston. Goodwin should be used to help bring on a young team.

Don't know how you can say that. The last time Morton beat us this website didn't exist so we've no idea how the Morton fans will respond when they finally end their wait.

Of course they would have been, well done to you for pointing it out. Rightly so too as that Morton team were pretty poor, good to see we were up for it against them. That's all we ask, effort and stay honest. Obviously we don't always get that and obviously you get varying reactions to it. Twitter 's been positive though, probably a better avenue for the shorter "well done" than a form.

Goodies first action yesterday was to push our midfield forward.

Would love Goodwin to remain at club. In fact the way the under 20 team is performing under new coach would get rid and put goody in as coach. His red card days are over and also other teams looking to get him sent off are pretty much gone. So Rae please look at finances replace under 20 coach with Goodwin and play him that way 2 for price of one

Let's not get too carried away with Goodie on the basis of yesterday, those of us that we're at Falkirk last week had a totally different impression of his contribution to the team last week and to say that his red card days are over and that he is no longer targeted is naive in the extreme.

Great to have Jason back.He strolled thru the game with a smile on his face, you could see how happy he was.

Was Watson dropped or injured?

No injury, apparently. Seems Rae opted to drop him in favour of Naismith as Watson is offski in any event.

I was at last weeks game, where Goody was brought on for the last10mins, in his very 1st tackle using his shoulder he was undeservedly booked as the Falkirk player rolled about in fake agony clutching his head, yet approximately 1minute later he was fit to carry on. Upon talking to Goody before the match with Keith Watson, it was made very clear that no matter how much Goody wants to stay, it is extremely unlikely he will be with us, he even joked it was funny that he so much wanted to stay, yet He stated that this s--t wants to leave, referring to Keith Watson.

I'm surprised nobuddie, especially our airplane correspondent, has mentioned the aborted landing just after Shanks goal.Anybuddie else see it?

Aye, a mate clocked it. There were no other take offs or landings for best part of half an hour afterwards.

The original plane,at least it looked like the original plane, came back round and landed about 10 mins later.A helicopter also appeared around the same time, don't know if that was coincidence or anything to do with the incident.

Didn't Watson go off injured last week?

I'm sure someone posted that he may have played his last game for us as a result.

That's right enough. Haven't heard or read anything about it. Did seem strange.

Yep. Also saw it. Politely told by pal, "if you say so." Good to know others saw it too. tongue.png

Thomson flight, you saw it start to climb and then it went back round again as it headed back into the flightpath for landing. Had a great view of it but an even better view of Shanklands goal as it soared into the net!

The helicopter looked like the yellow one that quite often lands at the RAH.
