insaintee
Yep I'd ban SNP voters for that too. They voted this shower in. The state of the Scottish NHS and Scottish education lies squarely on their / your shoulders Just out of interest what state are the NHS and Scottish Education in
BaldyOzBud
Assumed this would be about the sixth anniversary of Celtic declaring independence from Tony Mowbray. The only post on this pointless thread that is positive!
BaldyOzBud
The best night I ever had at the new stadium, particularly after the horror of the game that shall not be referenced only a few painful days before.
Stuart Dickson
You're right. Predicting that it happens means that you think it is going to happen, not necessarily that you want it to happen. Hoping that it happens means that you want it to happen, not necessarily that you think it is going to happen. You said that you hoped it would happen. Enough said. As for being responsible, how can anyone, just now, be responsible for the SNP winning the 2016 Scottish Parliament Election (the thing you were hoping for) when it hasn't happened yet. Silly boy. You know it's happening already. The SNP pet project at the Southern General has been a massive cluster f**k. The regular disasters at the SQA under the SNP have made our state education system a laughing stock. Those who vote SNP made this happen. They are responsible. They're the ones whose hands are dripping in blood. Thankfully 55% of us saved Scotland's kids from even more damnation. What a group of heroes we are! salmonbuddie
It hasn't, you know, I've had up close and personal experience of the staff and facilities at the new hospital and can testify that it's far from the clusterf**k you claim it to be. The care I received was world class and couldn't be bettered and the rooms, all individual, are the equivalent of a good business class hotel, Holiday Inn for example. Breakfast left a bit to be desired but the other meals were excellent with a few options always available.

FTOF
Just out of curiosity, what state would the Scottish NHS be in if, say, the Tories had been in power in Holyrood? http://www.greenbenchesuk.com/2014/12/report-100-ways-tories-have-failed-nhs.html They seem to be doing such a good job of running (down) the NHS elsewhere........................................ salmonbuddie
Nice wee anecdote yet it flies against the Scottish Governments own reports.Which all show how much better NHS Scotland is doing when compared to the English, Welsh & Norn Irish counterparts. Thanks for highlighting that. Thank f**k we have some protection against the havoc the Tories are wreaking to the NHS elsewhere in the UK. Stuart Dickson
Which all show how much better NHS Scotland is doing when compared to the English, Welsh & Norn Irish counterparts. Thanks for highlighting that. Thank f**k we have some protection against the havoc the Tories are wreaking to the NHS elsewhere in the UK. Not according to the Euro Health Consumer Index. England is two places above Scotland in their league table. And the information services division report shows Scots wait longer than English patients for treatment in A&E too. And Audit Scotland issued a report late last year that showed deep rooted problems within the NHS in Scotland with declining standards of patient care missing 7 out of 9 of the Scottish Governments own performance targets. Even more concerning to everyone should be the fact that the SNP continue to perform so badly despite NHS spending in Scotland per head being significantly higher than it is across the rest of the UK. Havoc the Tories are wreaking? We Scots can only wish we had it that good..... The blood is on the hands of everyone who voted for the SNP. Thank christ for the REAL Scottish heroes - the 55% who saw through the SNP shite and who voted NO in the referendum. Stuart Dickson
^^^^ Never read and/or doesn't understand the EHCI. And quoting things out of context - again. ETA: You're not getting any better at this, are you? I'm not surprised you're struggling. You can't cope with any mention of finance, budgets or accounts. Let's try again. The SNP spend more money per head on the NHS in Scotland than in any other part of the UK, yet the Scottish NHS is failing to hit 7 of the 9 targets being set for it by the Scottish Government, it's wait times in A&E are worse than in England, and the choice, range of services and standard of care is worse in Scotland than it is in England. And just to compound matters Audit Scotland say the SNP are CUTTING the NHS budget in Scotland in real terms every year because they are failing to increase spending in line with inflation. And still the SNP celebrate it's success in taking money out of patient care to fund free medication for the rich and free car parking for highly paid consultants. Not even Labour were as incompetent as this SNP administration.
nosferatu
: You're funny. No more mention of the EHCI then, Babykiller? The SNP don't spend money on the NHS in any part of the UK apart from Scotland, ya thick c**t. In England the A&E clock starts when a doctor decides that a patient is to be admitted, in Scotland the clock starts when you turn up at the door. So the "wait" should be longer in Scotland, all else being equal. The declared NHS spend in Scotland includes things like social care for the elderly, for England it doesn't. Come back and talk to me about numbers when you know how to compare them properly, numbnuts. ^^^ on the verge of tears! Have you figured out how the national debt is financed yet Ernie? Numbnuts, thich cnut indeed!
