So Farewell Then......victoria Wood

Occasionally slightly funny. Seriously? She was a national treasure. Inventive, funny, and very generous. Much of her best work gave the best lines to others in the cast. As Seen On TV with Acorn Antiques was genius and Dinnerladies was brilliantly observed. Saw her live in Glasgow many years ago and the first 15 mins was all about this store she wandered into while taking a walk down Sauchiehall Street - Watt Brothers. She must have written it just before going on and it had the audience crying with laughter right from the off. RIP Victoria - you and wee Ronnie Corbett will have them laughing for an eternity.
