mcd54
I really liked her. Still watch the re-runs of Dinner Ladies RIP
rabuddies
Occasionally slightly funny. Seriously? She was a national treasure. Inventive, funny, and very generous. Much of her best work gave the best lines to others in the cast. As Seen On TV with Acorn Antiques was genius and Dinnerladies was brilliantly observed. Saw her live in Glasgow many years ago and the first 15 mins was all about this store she wandered into while taking a walk down Sauchiehall Street - Watt Brothers. She must have written it just before going on and it had the audience crying with laughter right from the off. RIP Victoria - you and wee Ronnie Corbett will have them laughing for an eternity. Edited to remove some code that had mysteriously appeared. Edited April 20, 2016 by rabuddies

pozbaird
62 is way, way too young. 2016 is seeing an artist or musician of some sort passing away every week it seems. RIP.

faraway saint
Not my cup of tea, but another shocking cancer statistic. Agreed, it's been, in my opinion, that cancer has become much less of a threat, which, possibly, the stats can substantiate. Yet many public figures, and a very close friend, aged just 43, have recently been taken. Tragic for all concerned.
