Wasn't expecting to read this news

there is a decent player there when not injured

Rocco is the kind of player who may just come back to haunt us

There's the key part in all of this. Poor guy has struggled so much with injuries.

All the best to him, but no use to us as always injured. Had heard he may be forced to retire, which would be a great shame.

I actually think that's what will happen , and he will receive some sort of insurance pay out , and will only continue to play at a level that allows him to receive the payout , its quite clear he isn,t fit enough for the demands of full time football . Good Luck Rocco

Aye, what has been said above, shame but a good move for us.

Now, where's the star forward we're going to sign now we've freed up some money? :)

We could buy out Liam's Contract at Raith.

A bit sad to see Rocco go, a very good player when fit. I think his chances might have been limited this season with us, been waiting for this to happen since McShane signed. I'm sure he'll have been keen to go, because he's too good a player to be sitting on the bench. He'll be an asset to another club, probably in this division. Good luck to him, unless he's playing against the buds.

Would imagine there's a player on the verge of signing then, if we're clearing space on the wage bill.

There must have been about 4 or 5 games in a row before the transfer window when Rocco started and was subbed off on 60 minutes. JR said that was all he could manage with this chronic injury he has.

A real shame. He's probably looking at part-time football or retirement now. Good luck to him.

I share these thoughts. Excellent player who has been severely hampered by injury.

Best wishes Rocco
