salmonbuddie
In fairness this is a hole you dug yourself. All that anti Tory "what about the poor" stuff whilst admitting you accepted the tax gain they handed you and spent it on your grandkids. Its plastic socialism at its most hypocritical. Nobody blames you for being like the rest of us. It was funny at the time however to see you nailed like that. Your memory is fading badly if that's your recollection of what was said. oaksoft
I'd guess I'm one of those "sanctimonious posters" you're talking about and, like me I don't expect any did - it wouldn't be practical in any case. You don't know what they did with that money though, that would have been a much better question. Personally, amongst other things, I chose to spend more on my grandson and that ties in with what I said earlier, but I can't speak for everyone else. Equally, I wouldn't have a problem paying more if that's what it takes to solve the problem. Sanctimonious enough for ya? Your memory is fading badly if that's your recollection of what was said. Nothing wrong with my memory.
salmonbuddie
"Grandchildren" you said, "Grandson" is what it says there. Nothing wrong with your memory right enough. Did you miss the bit where I said "amongst other things"? What I spend my money on is my choice, no-one on here knows what that choice is or how much, if any, is given to charitable causes. ETA - still waiting for the way to refuse a tax gain when you're PAYE working for a large company. ETA again - time to shift this, mods? Callum Gilhooley
You are a snob, look up the meaning FFS of course its Ralston folks its happening in Ralston, might be different if Clarkston was moaning. Do you think people gpo out there way, your make this anti St Mirren when in fact its anti social. I swear, I am sure you do, but I manage not to yell it out in public. If that's just the way. it is, the St Mirren- either control your players or move the training facility. Funny how Lennoxtown don't moan and neither do Milngavie. Even when we lose I don't swear out so others here, but some morons do. There are kids about Its down tio being responsible and sociable with respect. As you said So find the players, and fkin bin them if they cant help but swear. I never saw Pele. King Kenny swear did you? I stand with Ralston folks as I would do with anyone who has to put up with antisocial behavior. So tell me, which of these two training bases actually has houses anywhere near ? Ridiculous comparisons.

ETA - still waiting for the way to refuse a tax gain when you're PAYE working for a large company? Nobody is criticising you for keeping it and spending it on your grandkid. In the context of an entire thread where you are calling others anti-poor it marked you out as just like the rest of us. Welcome to the gang. That last sentence is a cop out. You could easily have simply wandered down to the local foodbank and handed them every penny of it. Anyway your pomposity on that thread gave nosferatu an easy target and he will neverlet you forget it. Oh and as regards how you spent the rest of it nobody genuinely cares. Personally I kept and spent the entire amount of myself. This was only ever about catching you out on a spot of common garden hypocrisy. salmonbuddie
I wasn't calling others anti-poor, I was saying that I, personally, had no problem with paying for stuff even with the knowledge that some people would rip us off. Nothing hypocritical about it, except in your head, and in #thichasfcuk's. You do know you get judged by the company you keep, don't you? The Original 59er
I've never seen a thread go so off topic and become a personal slanging match as this one................................... does the word "snob" have anything to do with it by any chance: "a person with an exaggerated respect for high social position or wealth who seeks to associate with social superiors and looks down on those regarded as socially inferior. a person who believes that their tastes in a particular area are superior to those of other people." Basically I don't think the majority of people around Ralston are 'snobs' if they are, then they are social climbing out of a pretty low place in the first place. The main point of the thread is the swearing that is reputed to have taken place and whether they should have to accept it on a frequent basis? Unless I'm mistaken no-one on this website would tolerate a frequent neighbour openly shouting swear words especially if there are kids around. It's basically unacceptable behaviour............ if indeed it is occurring at all.

Hilarious how this is being banded about. Point is- Swearing is unacceptable, invading pitches and threatening is unacceptable- its called anti social. And Saints are out of order and Ralston has every right to complain. And to the guy who said that Lennoxtown and Milngavie are different- Jeez. Go there, swear and I will tell you if its heard at the closest house

Also, how often does this swearing take place, how loud is it and what duration are said sweary sessions?St. Mirren are only out of order if they condone anti social behaviour and allow it to continue. Ralston doesn't have every right to complain, only those households directly affected. Do we know how many that is? Similarly, can you tell me how many houses are within swearing distance of old firm training grounds?
