IMO this is the sort of vision for Scotland I'd like to see Sturgeon promoting for IndyRef2. All this nonsense about EU membership, currency, pensions and borders at Gretna are all either total distractions or short term problems easily fixed. None of them are exciting to talk about. There's just a total lack of an exciting vision from the mainstream parties IMO.

Another £34-£35 million to complete the Scottish shipbuilding fiasco, and should be finished for next year.

To give the new CEO credit he has put some definite dates/costs in place, as a good CEO should.

Fingers crossed, although the final cost will be astronomical. 

A really a poor exercise if it was to sell the Scottish shipbuilding industry and it was worth saving. 

Mismanagement at it's best, not to mention incompetent government involvement.

I'm no fan of the labour party and even less of Starmer but, No she didn't. She admitted to being at the gathering after some said she wasn't, which the police have already investigated and decided there was no party therefore no breaking of covid rules. Some are forever desperate to hide BoJo's lies.

SNP MP Mhairi Black has apologised after she was filmed drinking lager on a ScotRail train despite a ban on alcohol being in place.

Footage emerged of the Paisley and Renfrewshire South MP drinking from a can while surrounded by football fans.

The video was first published by the Spectator magazine's website, which said it took place on a train travelling from Glasgow Central after a football match between Ayr United and Partick Thistle.

A ban on alcohol on board ScotRail trains was extended when the rail franchise was nationalised on April 1.

Shamed ex-SNP minister Derek Mackay has vowed to help a Holyrood probe into the ferries fiasco after claiming he has been double-crossed by Nicola Sturgeon.

The former transport minister has told friends he has been scapegoated by his former boss in the storm over the botched building of two CalMac ferries.

Holyrood’s public audit committee is poised to demand current and former SNP ministers give evidence about the project at the Ferguson Marine shipyard on the Clyde.

Mr Mackay has now said he wants to set the record straight after Ms Sturgeon suggested he was responsible for signing the deal.

The ferry situation has indeed been a costly fuck up of monumental proportions. 

However, if the current level of scrutiny being applied to the situation was applied to the contracts handed out to the Tory network and for equipment not fit for purpose during Covid, I wonder how many "ferry fuck ups" would equal that vast sum of taxpayers money.
