The BBC summed it up perfectly saying that Farage is billing it as him against the establishment, the BBC reporters said "Isn't it him against a guy with a bin on his head". 🤣🤣🤣

This is the competition for Farage..... Could be close.

Given the fact the 3 majo parties actually had more votes, I wonder what would happen if an independent ran on a ticket of, "at least I'm not Nigel Farage".

A winning strapline right there.

C'mon Count Binface. 😉

IIRC the Tories were second at the GE (and I was) - the combined Reform/Tory vote was 74%.

Perhaps if a secular Saint could be persuaded to run, say David Beckham (East End boy), but other than that no.

Funny thing is we're only 3 weeks on from the Makerfield by-election, if Sir Keir hadn't resigned he might look a bit stronger now.

Seems like Wee Burnie was too scared to upset the markets by making Milliiband the CotE & Mahmood didn't want to move from the FO. Healey fits the bill in that he'll have 2/3 daze grace before the right wing press discover his childhood pet was called Marx.

Raynor back as Health Secretary - tricky position, ideal to give to a future challenger.

offtopic Healey has never had a job outside of politics.

Hope my pension is heavily invested in defence stocks

Ha!, just checked, the plan has added 3% since start of US trading today, so the answer is probably a big yes!

Looks like ScotLab leader at Holyrood is off to the HoL.

Obvs a reward for sticking the first knife into Sir Keir but shows just what Labour & Sarwar think off Scotland!

He's to be made a minister in the Dept. of Bisto!

Monica Lennon who I reckon will be the next ScotLab leader has made statements supporting Independence in the past and is pretty agnostic on the issue. shockaroony

An absolute knob of a man. Worst leader Labour in Scotland had for years. Said he would never take a seat in the Lords. Just like his father a liar.

Staggered this is actually a real thing...........................the world, SNP included, has gone fcuking mad.

SNP must stop funding charity which promotes 'grotesque'...

Scottish Government Health Secretary Angela Constance is under pressure to pull funding for LGBTH Health and Wellbeing until it axes training sessions it holds for 'breastfeeding' men.

I'd rather fund LGBT & Breastfeeding for Men courses than the Ukraine War, which is little more than a grifting opportunity for genuinely "sick individuals".

I'd suggest you, as most of your posts show, are off your head.

Because I don't support a proxy war whose origins go further back than either 2022 or 2014.

I know who's losing this war and it ain't Putin or Zelenskyy who I find increasingly hard to distinguish between.

So I say to everyone cutting themselves a slice of the "arms pie", the experts taking a shilling for their opinions on TV and the armchair generals with a macabre satisfaction in the rising death tolls in Ukraine and the Middle East - shame on you!
